  Great first impression. But in the order there was specifics on types of chicken pieces wanted and we did not get them.

  I have to rewrite my review after my visit to this Stop & Shop today. Quick stop. Been with Stop & Shop since 1985. Staff were wandering around or standing around chatting. Some loyal staff were working. But only a few. No friendly greeting or "can I help you?" when I went through front doors. Had to use the Restroom first. OMG!! Toilets all filled with human feces and urine; every stall nearly had no toilet paper; warned another customer coming in, told her the one half usable stall. After living in Fairfield, bought a house in East Hampton. I stopped in the Cromwell store, about 3 times over a year and today's visit was the last. Walked round the entire store. All the Floors were dirty. Walked around to pick up a couple items. Products were on the floor or sitting on carts, waiting to be shelved or put away. The Manager must have not been there with just a couple people working. Never again. Never going to go there again. Don't want to risk getting Ebola, Hepatitis or Covid. And the worst part, being with this grocery for 30+ years, the same stuff I've bought over and over, everything I looked for the Used by dates, had 'Used by dates' that were long overdue. Don't know where things took a wrong turn. Had to say something. Enter at your own risk.
