  UPDATE: After leaving this review, I looked through the recent reviews for this location and realized my experience is clearly not an isolated incident. There are numerous reviews from just the past few weeks describing the same issues with rude or hostile employees, poor customer service, mobile/pickup orders, food quality, cleanliness, and even food safety concerns. What’s especially frustrating is that Chipotle continues responding to these reviews saying they’ll “look into it” or “share the feedback,” yet the same complaints continue week after week and appear to be getting worse. I contacted Chipotle directly after my own experience and received essentially the same response. At what point does someone actually address what is happening at this location instead of responding to every negative review with a variation of the same generic response?

  Food was absolutely terrible, I eat at chipotle almost every day and this is by far the worst, the chicken was ice cold, looks like it’s been sitting for hours, the staff was very unfriendly. Two of the workers were actually fighting and arguing who wants to serve, and I was standing just watching them, which was very ridiculous, if I was the owner of this, I would fire the whole staff, very unpleasant experience

  Service is so slow, it takes forever to get through the line. They are constantly running out of ingredients. They were unwilling to add beans into my quesadilla. Terrible service. Not planning to return anytime soon.

  When this location first opened service was great.Less than a year later it has gone downhill. We have tried to give the cheshire location multiple chances but the current crew that works there needs to have a complete overhaul or a re-orientation for training. Several times we have ordered on the app and picked the food up, brought it home only to realize several food items missing and significantly small portions. Another time we went around 7 pm and barely any food to choose from. Employees are unfriendly and unapologetic when making errors. Chipotle corporate & management - you need to step in!

  Extremely hostile service! My family and I were really happy when a Chipotle finally opened closer to us, but unfortunately, this location has been a constant disappointment. Tonight’s visit, however, was by far the worst. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was entirely unwelcoming. The staff member helping us put on her gloves and stood there scowling, actively avoiding eye contact. When I politely said hello, she mumbled an unintelligible response. From there, the interaction turned hostile. She aggressively snapped "WHAT KIND OF RICE!" under her breath, and we had to ask her to repeat herself many times throughout the entire process—culminating in her bluntly throwing out, "We don't have tomatoes!" As if she would’ve been even more upset if she had to hear us ask for pico/mild sauce. It didn't just feel like someone doing the bare minimum; it felt entirely personal, as if she was determined to make every customer feel as miserable as she was feeling. She aggressively tossed the food into our bowls while my family and I remained as polite and respectful as humanly possible. To top it off, she was rushing us so much and barely listening that she ended up charging us for extra items we didn’t ask for. We didn’t even bother to correct her; we just wanted to get out of there and didn't want to let her ruin our time any further. At the end, I thanked her for her help and even genuinely said, "I hope you have a better rest of your day," only to be met with total silence. This isn't the first time we've experienced this kind of rude, unwelcoming behavior at this exact Cheshire location. Tonight, it made my wife and daughter feel genuinely uncomfortable. We completely dread walking into this building now, so it looks like we’ll be taking our business elsewhere. I hope everyone keeps their jobs as I’m sure they will, but I genuinely recommend some retraining in hospitality as well as customer service. I hope this woman was just having a bad day and that someone kind enough helps her along her life journey.
