  Hello, I’m writing to report an extremely unpleasant experience I had today at the Dunkin’ location inside the southbound service plaza in Branford, Connecticut. Earlier in the day, I stopped in for breakfast and began using the self-order kiosk. An employee interrupted me to take my order directly, which was perfectly fine. However, from the very beginning, his attitude was incredibly rude, dismissive, and unfriendly. There was no greeting, no courtesy, and no professionalism whatsoever. When I attempted to order a couple of items that were unavailable, instead of responding politely or apologetically, he repeatedly and abruptly said things like, “We don’t have that,” in a very short and irritated tone. The entire interaction made me feel as though I was inconveniencing him simply by placing an order. Later that evening, I returned to the service plaza intending to purchase a refresher drink. According to the posted hours, the location was supposed to remain open until 7:00 PM, yet around 6:38 PM the employee was already visibly shutting down operations early. I walked over and politely asked, “Are you still open?” and his response was simply, “Hot coffee only.” When I tried to clarify by asking whether I could still order a refresher, he interrupted me mid-sentence and repeated, “Hot coffee only,” again in an extremely rude and dismissive manner. I understand that customer service jobs can be stressful, and I generally try to give people grace. However, this employee’s behavior went far beyond someone having a bad day. His attitude throughout both interactions was openly hostile and disrespectful, and it genuinely made me uncomfortable. I travel frequently for work and stop at many Dunkin’ locations. This was honestly one of the worst customer service experiences I’ve had in quite some time. At minimum, I believe this location’s management should be made aware that customers are being treated this way and that the store appears to be shutting down significantly before posted closing hours.   My first time coming to this Dunkin and the first lady to come to the drive thru window was very rude and somewhat aggressive. The second lady, who noticed the interaction, was much kinder and understanding. It's too early in the morning to be so rude to people. I appreciate the second team member and how she handled me as a customer with courtesy and respect.
