Wow, wow, wow!! We finally got the chance to stop by, and let me say, it was amazing. Friday night, no wait, at the bar!
The staff is so sweet and checked on us a perfect amount.
I had a Salmon tartar 10/10 fresh and delish and the perfect temp for my sensitive teeth
I also got the mussels 10/10 hot and fresh
We shared some takoyaki 10/10 for being the perfect temperature 🌡 no burning your mouth!
My partner had some salmon and tuna sashimi with sticky rice on the side (he recently injured his hand and this was a great modification) 10/10 fresh with radish and amazing ginger!
Lastly we shared a Foxy Lady roll and a Soporro and it was wonderful! Also 10/10 🤗
We had a wonderful time and the food is amazingly priced. We have definitely paid more elsewhere for lesser quality, unfortunately.
This will now be our go to for date night!

This place straight up sucks. Chef in the back coughed all over the food and work station my whole time there. Never even attempted to cover his mouth. Most all ingredients were low quality and overall unpleasant to consume. Way too overpriced for the experience. Only the eel and waitress were good.

The dine-in atmosphere during the World Cup was absolutely jaw-dropping. Everyone working here—including the owner couple and the chefs—seemed more focused on gambling than running a restaurant. The whole place felt like more like their personal sports-betting lounge, with them cheering, cursing, complaining, calling people on the phone. Honestly never seen a restaurant run so unprofessionally and unpleasantly for customers.

Took carry out for lunch. 2 rolls and gyoza-$46.00
The rolls were mushy, had no real presentation and bones in the eel. Thats a first and I've been eating sushi since birth. More than disappointing. Next time, I'd skip this place and get a whole bento box at Mt. Fuji as it's better, more and cheaper.

⚠️ HYGIENE ALERT. All first-hand facts. Owner, pls don't comment and lie it's not true:
(1) Customers’ faces are about 12 inches from the tables where other people's rectum particles have been. The same half bucket of water and rag—without disinfectant—is used to wipe down yesterday's tables, chairs, and booths before opening, then reused all day to clean every post-meal table, chair, and booth. (2) The bare hands that tear the raw lettuce salad and cut the tofu in the miso soup are not washed after touching trash bins and other germy surfaces. (3) The chef in the back kitchen doesn't wear a duty uniform or a hat/hairnet. He does dusty outside inventory work, shopping, and preps your food in the exact same t-shirt and jeans. (4) The short, split curtain hung between the kitchen and the sushi bar is extremely dirty and greasy. It inevitably wipes servers' faces and hair before them putting dishes on the tables. (5) The bathroom floors are covered by dark grime and dirty mop marks and the loud ventilation fan sounds like it’s falling apart.
Easily the lowest hygiene standards one could've ever seen.
