Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.
Never once have I had a good experience here. I ate here once but often come in for door dash. I have had as many as four people walk past me without acknowledging me never less than two. Every single time I am here. And I’m not often the only person waiting. They do not care about customer service at all.

Late nite drive thru employee kept my bank card after running the transaction through at 11pm in the drive thru. I was unable to go back but did call & she gave me her word that it would be locked in the safe, in the manager’s office for me to pick up the following morning. It took several employees and two store manager’s to finally find the card two days later. I’ve completed a receipt survey, emailed corporate in San Antonio, TX and the Operating Partner (Benjamin Morris) and have not received any response. I’m disappointed with Tim & Kaitlyn (Store Shift Managers) because for the past 3 weeks they have made promises that only turned into lies. I’m disappointed in the unprofessionalism & shame
on Mr Morris, for emailing me directly & saying he cares about his store when he can’t even follow through. In the past I’ve overlooked the fact that it can take up to 30-60 minutes to receive my order but definitely will not return. I’ll drive to the state of Texas before I return to this store location.

Literally waited in line for 45 minutes tonight. Every time my family and I come here, people who arrived well after us somehow get their food first. I understand that mistakes happen, but waiting 45 minutes for a sandwich is ridiculous. This isn't the first time, either. I placed an online order a while back specifically to avoid waiting in line, and I ended up waiting even longer than the people in the drive-thru. I’ve worked in fast food before, so I know things can get busy and stressful. But customer wait times still matter. The lack of consistency and organization is really disappointing. I wish the service here was better because experiences like this make it hard to want to come back.

EASILY THE WORST WHATABURGER I'VE EVER BEEN TO. I'm from Texas, I've worked at whataburger. How hard is it to make food the way I order it? How hard is it to not forget sauces I PAY for? Horrible food, service takes forever. This franchise is the worst Whataburger ive ever been to. Corporate should take their name off this restaurant
