- WGWade Gunkel2 days ago1.0I got 2 cheeseburgers. I hadn't had a cheeseburger in a while and the McDs basic cheeseburger used to be the bomb. Not anymore. I don't know what happened to McDonalds, but the food just kind of sucks. I used to love it. The Big Mac was king of the burger world. Now the food tastes like it was made in a lab by AI and sort of tastes like what a hamburger should taste like, but there is something fake about it at the same time. The bread is weird. The pickles are weird. The ketchup is freaking weird. McDonalds has become a science experiment on how to get the minimum amount of actual sustenance in their food. I can't imagine that it's going to last. People can only eat a fake 7 dollar hamburger for so long before they just decide it's not worth it anymore.
