Place an order through the app and showed up at 10 AM. Waited 20 minutes on 2 drinks buzzed in and was told,Sorry, we got a to go order from the bank. We'll have yours out in a few minutes. We was the only person in the parking lot. I don't understand how any order should take 20 minutes when you order it before you get there.

If there was a zero or negative, this place has earned that.
Ther frequent delays and unreasonably long waits are a standard here, but its the only one in town so I prepare myself ahead of time for a wait. Even so, I went thru the drive thru about 2 weeks ago . After waiting over 30 mins, they had given my order to another customer by the time i got to the window. At the window, i waited for another 10 mins for them to replace my item. I drove away and the item they gave me was COLD, as if it had been pulled out of the fridge and handed off to me (it was not a cold food item). As I had no more time to waste waiting again for what i had already paid for, i called the store and asked to speak to a manager. I explained what happened and she said shed record my name for a future visit free drink and item.
I went to claim my items today, but was told that there was no record of my name or issue. The manager on duty stated that I would not be able to be compensated. A professional manager would have taken my information and inquired of other shift managers/employees regarding my situation BEFORE advising me that I would not be compensated. I understand that businesses are having an extremely difficult time finding and retaining reliable help, and I also understand that employees are being paid insufficient wages for hard work, long hours, and difficult circumstances. It gives me the impression here at Montrose Sonic that the owner(s) is lining their pockets and holding their breath as long as they can bring in as much as they can without providing customer service, a quality product, or supporting their workers to be able to provide a professional model.
