This location is getting better, thankfully. They went through a bit of a rough patch bout a year ago with what looked like employees picketing and inside the store was getting pretty bad but apparently some things have settled down. Seams like most items stay in stock regularly now. The fruit and quality of it has definitely increased. Seams like employees are working and staying busy again. I took down my poor review and put this one up. Thank you Safeway. Keep doing good. This community needs good grocery stores and will support them.

Oh heck no! I wanted wings from the deli but the guy making them his arm looks like he has a MRSA staph infection on his arm. I lost my appetite. Please tell employee In deli to wear a long sleeve. I Was starving but now that's replaced with me being close to vomiting. Left with no lunch but a sick stomach. I drove pretty far too.

I've been buying nearly all my beef there for 2 decades because they cut their meat in house and I could get my steaks the way I want them. That's a major benefit to having in-house butchers. And because they have frequent great sales on 3-steak "value packs" If I wanted a 2" NY strips or ribeye I could get them; which, only makes sense because I pay by the pound. What difference should it make if they are 1" or 2" thick? I found out a couple days ago that their new policy is to cut steaks 1" thick or less. Even if a customer requests thicker steaks. So I went to speak cordially to a manager about why I can't get 2" steaks any longer. Well he had to contact his boss who was in the store somewhere with his boss, and I was told they would contact me. So I provided my name and phone number and am now waiting for a call to explain this. What's so disappointing is, at that very moment, how they lost a 20-year customer. A real customer-focused management team would not have put me off and talked about corporate policy. They would have simply said, "let's go back to the butcher and get you those 2" steaks." It's amazing how incompetent people can be when it comes to customer service, and still climb a corporate ladder.
