- AKA KaiserJun 23, 20261.0Everything in the store is at least 30% more expensive than other stores. The store is very dirty and grimy. The self checkouts are loud, slow, and badly designed. The clerks at checkout are slow and have weird attitudes. The only thing this store has going for it is location, and if there were a King's or Walnart on this side of town I am certain this Safeway would close like the other one on 17th.

I was understanding that I had to wait about 10 minutes before someone was able to come and take care of me. However, the night manager Laura, is the one who checked us out. She had no name tag, but I found out from another employee. She had a very nasty and rude demeanor. She more than let me know through her actions, that she was not happy that I was there. When the transaction ended, Insaid thank you. However, there was nothing in return. I understand that there can be rough days. Yet, customer service should always be priority. This was very unprofessional and is not the first time I have encountered this at this location. It is the closest to my home and naturally I shop there. I will not be returning after this.

Same dude is there for 20 minutes just tapping at the machine while talking to the employees about the restock that just happened. Not sure if anyone can read but it says no loitering. Tap it. Nothing there. Leave.. pretty simple. They should just take that machine out at this point if they are gonna let people stand there all day

That being said, this particular Safeway is one of the worst managed worst stocked worst selection grocery store I’ve ever been in. This photo of the meat dept is not from COVID days, no no, this was LAST NIGHT at 7:00pm. I hate that this is my neighborhood store.
