I’ve watched him go above and beyond to help customers, he is knowledgeable and especially helpful if you have questions or are looking for suggestions. I literally plan my trips around when he works when I’m looking for something new!

Even though I prefer King Soopers, I really can't complain too much about coming here instead since it's closer. But I do have one complaint. I prefer to buy 1 or 2 potatoes at a time instead of a whole 5lb bag, since I don't get through that much before they go bad. However, the individual potatoes they have should never be anywhere but the dumpster. They're always expired and of horrible quality. It'd be nicer if the product department just didn't stock them at all. Besides that, I like this store and staff. Just 1 bad thing, the rest is good. I'll keep coming here over Kings while I live here.

As an aside I carry cash and a credit card with me but I leave my ID in the car. Here is where I ran into the Safeway bureaucracy. Safeway lady: I need your ID. Me: I don’t have it. Safeway lady: I need your ID. Me: do I look under 21. (I’m over 70). Safeway lady: it’s Colorado law. Me: no it isn’t it’s Safeway policy. Safeway lady: it’s Colorado law. Me: no other store or bar in CO asks me for ID. I’m never coming back to this store.
