  This is easily the worst Safeway deli I’ve visited. I shop at this store regularly because it’s convenient, and the deli is consistently disappointing. The hot food is often empty, old, dried out, or picked over with little effort made to replenish it. Many times there isn’t a single employee visible behind the counter, and when staff are available, customer service often feels like an inconvenience rather than part of the job. The photos speak for themselves. At 5:00 PM on a Monday, there was nobody to be found. The display case windows were filthy inside and out, the food looked dried out and unappetizing, and several items were either gone or had clearly been sitting there far too long. Carts with empty boxes left in the middle of aisles unattended with nobody to be found. This isn’t an isolated incident—it’s a recurring problem. Management needs to spend some time at the deli during peak hours and see what customers are actually experiencing. The lack of cleanliness, poor food presentation, and absence of customer service make this deli one of the worst-run departments I’ve encountered.

  After several years of spending approximately $200 a week at the Lone Tree store today was the last straw. Not sure who is in charge there but they don’t seem very interested in providing quality produce or product. Two weeks in a row (June) and no lettuce no radishes and rotten cauliflower. When asked response is a shrug of the shoulder and “the warehouse is out”. No lemon juice no yogurt and one wonders if I am shopping in Russia. Will now be a King Soopers shopper.

  Management has bullied my relative for years. They're rude and disrespectful on the phone. I'm glad he no longer works there

  This used to be my regular store. They were constantly out of stuff so I went to Target for some items. And then I realized not only does Target have everything, they typically have it for a better price. Now I only go to this Safeway when I need one item. Today I went for rotisserie chicken at 5:30pm - they were all sold out and wouldn’t have a new batch until 6pm. The store is unreliable. That’s my biggest complaint. I feel like they should have enough data to properly stock the store but I’m continuously disappointed…Enough to go out of my way to write a review.

  Typical Safeway L, out of everyday products - nearly everyday. How is it that Colorado has such complete milquetoast grocery stores? Soopers isn't anything great either. 🫤
