Waiter was a bit over stimulated last night, 😳 didnt take drink orders first, then skipped my elderly grandmother's order and went to everyone else, thought she would circle back around to her but had to catch her before she ran off to put her order in as well. My husband ordered a dr. Pepper and received a cherry coke, and their BBQ brisket special was just pot roast with BBQ sauce but cooked very well and tender. The Mac and cheese tasted like sour cream and grainy cheese. But my Nashville hot chicken sandwich was delicious and I loved the pickle onions with the slaw. Our friends ordered a walleye sandwich which was delicious, and a big nice salad. The deck is beautiful to sit out on at night, and the fireplace creates a great ambiance.

Two friends suggested that I meet them here for a late lunch. I just moved back nearby so I agreed. I had eaten here many years ago and recall enjoying my meal.
Both of my friends recommended the Walleye indicating that both the sautéed selection and the fried selection were good. I ordered the sautéed which included garlic mashed potatoes and sautéed spinach along with a glass of Chardonnay. Everything was delicious and served hot. Our server was very friendly and attentive.
The dining room is comfortable and not overly noisy. I will definitely return.

There are good servers, and then there are people like Kristel who completely transform a meal into an unforgettable experience.
From the moment we sat down, Kristel made us feel genuinely welcome. Her warmth, professionalism, and attention to detail were exceptional. She has a natural ability to connect with people, anticipate needs before they’re asked, and make every guest feel like they’re her top priority.
What impressed me most was that her service never felt scripted or routine. Kristel’s kindness was genuine, her recommendations were spot on, and her positive energy enhanced every part of our visit. She struck the perfect balance of being attentive without hovering, and she made us feel valued throughout the entire meal.
The food and atmosphere were excellent, but the reason we’ll return is Kristel. Employees like her are rare and truly invaluable. She represents the very best of hospitality and customer service, and she deserves recognition for the incredible experience she provides. Thank you, Kristel, for making our visit so enjoyable. Five stars simply aren’t enough.

Outer Patio Tables Denied to Customers with Dishonest Pretextual Reasons-Part 1
My husband and I are regular customers to Lakehouse Littleton and have been coming here now for several years. During the summer seasons, the main draw for us to the Lakehouse is its patio tables right next to the lake-outer patio section. The patio seats here consist of 1) the inner patio section with light & fan—that tends to be really loud and crowded and 2) the outer patio section closest to the lake. We much, much prefer this outer patio section, for we love to watch the lake while dining and it is also much quieter. For the last three times or so of our past visits, our explicitly expressed wish to sit at this outer patio section was flatly denied for the weirdest reasons each time even though there were many, many empty tables we saw at that particular section. We didn’t want to make a scene so during the last few visits, we quietly “complied” with the front desk and/or server’s “herding” us to the crowded, loud inner patio section.
However, last Saturday night on August 1, 2026, we really wanted to sit right by the lake. We arrived at the restaurant a little after 8 pm. When my husband said to the front desk staff (young ladies) that we would like the outer patio table, these two young ladies, in complete unison, very emphatically and strongly denied us those tables, saying that they could not offer the tables at the outer patio as it was “closed.” It was strange as 1) I saw at least two groups at that section still enjoying their meals and having a nice time and 2) the close time for Saturday is 10 pm and we arrived a little after 8 pm 3) lastly, we were denied the outer patio section a few times before even when we had visited for lunch previously, say between 11:30 am-1pm or so, and even then, we were still “herded” again to the crowded, inner patio area. So, the proffered reason for that section being “closed” doesn’t hold water there. When I asked one of the front desk young ladies, who initially was leading(herding) us to the inside patio area, when the outer patio “closing” time was, she couldn’t give me a straight answer and said something incongruent instead that gave a very strong impression of dishonesty and inadvertently revealing the well guarded truth of “we actually have no such rule of banning the outer patio section but the servers hate having to walk longer to check on customers/serve the food to the outer patio section and it is far more convenient FOR THE STAFF to herd every patio customer in one section, and that is why we say the outer section is unavailable.”
Previously, during our past visits when they denied us the outer patio, they used the lame excuse of “we don’t have the server serving that area” which makes zero sense as there were multiple servers working the inner patio with no problem, and the outer patio was just a mere a few more steps away from the inter patio. This young lady, on last Saturday, eventually let us take the outer patio table of our choice, but she looked unhappy as she was reluctantly doing so.
We didn’t go to Lakehouse last Saturday night for food, but SHEERLY for its nice ambiance right next to the lake. We deliberately waited for sundown to enjoy a nice summer night at the OUTER patio section. We could have gone to many other competing businesses for other delicious food. We SPECIFICALLY came to the Lakehouse for the AMBIENCE at the OUTER patio section. The owner of this restaurant must have invested tons of capital and renovation effort into this outer patio to draw the customers, which is one of the biggest selling points of this restaurant. I bet the owner and/or the senior management will be not happy hearing that a big part of their capital-heavy investment in the patio is actively being resisted for the customers to enjoy by their own staffs for their own little convenience. There was definitely some kind of “understanding” or “unwritten wink wink,” if not conspiracies going on between front desk welcomers and the servers.

Our foursome enjoyed the atmosphere and the food. One of us ordered a sandwich that came with a spicy sauce. She asked for mayo instead and the waiter warned her that would cost $1.50 extra. I ordered the walleye sandwich and asked about extra tartar sauce. That would also be $1.50 extra. For some unexplained reason there was no upcharge for ketchup for our fries.
We refused the costly "extra sauces." This is the only time we've been asked to pay upcharges for standard condiments, and with absolutely no explanation.
When our meals arrived, the walleye sandwich was dry. The fish itself was fresh and good, but it would have been much better with some tartar sauce.
What genius thought these kinds of hidden charges would be accepted by customers? This was insulting. We will never return.
