I want to start by saying that the manager, Kristi, our waitress, and the other staff members we interacted with on Sunday were very pleasant and respectful. Unfortunately, it only takes one interaction to completely change a dining experience, and that is what happened to us. A female kitchen staff member brought out our food, and we immediately noticed that my husband’s shrimp looked very dry. We had eaten here just the week before and knew that what we were served this time was noticeably different. The shrimp looked and felt dry, as though it had been sitting under a heat lamp for too long. We asked if we could have the shrimp remade. Rather than simply acknowledging our request and helping us, the female kitchen staff member began arguing with us. She insisted that everything was correct and then tried to tell us that we had not ordered the same thing the week before. We knew what we had ordered and eaten during our previous visit, and it was incredibly frustrating to have a staff member argue with us and try to convince us that we were confused or didn’t know what we were talking about. More importantly, whether she agreed with our assessment of the shrimp or not, we were clearly telling her that we were unhappy with that portion of the meal and asking for it to be remade. Instead of respecting that request, she continued trying to convince us to accept the dry shrimp. We should not have had to repeatedly defend or justify a simple request to have part of our meal remade. When we continued to insist that we wanted fresh shrimp, she appeared visibly annoyed and frustrated and finally took the plate. After walking only a few steps away from our table, she loudly and sarcastically said that she would “go catch us some fresh shrimp,” and laughed. She said it loudly enough for the surrounding tables to hear. The entire interaction was unacceptable. We were first argued with and treated as though we didn’t know what we were talking about, our request was repeatedly disregarded, and then we were mocked loudly enough for other customers to hear. It was hostile, disrespectful, and embarrassing. We had made a reasonable request about food we were paying for, and there was absolutely no reason for us to be treated that way. When Kristi brought out the replacement shrimp, there was a noticeable difference—it looked fresh this time. Kristi was apologetic and seemed to understand why we were so shocked by the way we had been treated. We appreciated her apology, but unfortunately, by that point our appetites were gone and the experience had already ruined our meal. To make matters worse, when our bill arrived, we had actually been charged an additional amount for the replacement shrimp. We then had to wait for our waitress to correct the bill, which she kindly did. We came here to enjoy dinner, not to argue with a staff member over whether we were capable of remembering what we had previously ordered, or to be publicly mocked for asking that dry food be remade. A simple, “Of course, we’ll get that taken care of for you,” would have resolved the entire situation. We did not deserve to be treated this way. While we appreciated Kristi’s apology, it did not undo how uncomfortable and embarrassed we were made to feel. Unfortunately, after this experience, we will not be returning.

I ordered two dinners and an app for carry out directly on Outback's website. Unfortunately one of the two steaks I received was completely inedible. It was very hard to cut and impossible to chew. Since this was a carryout order, I didn't figure this out until I was already home. I had to toss out the entire steak. I tried reaching out to customer service and never received a response. I've never had an experience like this at an Outback before. The rest of the food was good but that one steak was awful.

I believe our server was Logan, he was fantastic. He didn’t bother us too much, came and checked when needed, his timing was perfect. I’m not sure who the bartender (shoulder length blonde hair) was, but she did a great job as well. Our food came out super quick, was overall a really positive experience, something that seems to be far and few between with other restaurants.

We've always had good service here. Logan was our server tonight and he went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of. Incredible service! The food is always great too!
