  Amazing food, wine and service! Our first visit to this hidden gem revealed authentic flavors of Italian pizza and fresh food. Even as they were short staffed we were treated with fantastic service! So happy right now! We will be back!!

  This review is really for anyone that is different from the norm. A close friend of mine, her husband, and their children visit this restaurant regularly. They’ve become very close to the staff/owners(?), So when my friend invited me to one of her favorite places to go (Marino’s) tonight, I was more than happy to join her after a long day of work. We walked in and the two women at the bar were incredibly friendly to my friend – all smiles and welcome- Not so much to me. Their smiles immediately dropped after my friend introduced me to them. Throughout the hour that we were there, Angela made no eye contact with me, wouldn’t even speak to me- she literally asked questions to only my friend, and when I would answer, she would only acknowledge my friend before she did anything. She asked my friend what her order was, my friend told her she wanted a salad and a to go pasta. My friend and I both waited for Angela to then look at me and ask me what my order was; she didn’t. Angela instead walked away. I wasn’t going to order anything, why would I order at a restaurant that clearly did not want to service me? But because my friend really liked this place, because it seemed as though she had built a relationship with the people in this establishment, she asked me to please order something to try, so I did. It seemed like they were short staffed, because my friends salad took some time to prepare. The entire time at dinner, I was not acknowledged, I was not treated kindly, I was not treated with consideration- and I mean the consideration you might give your dog of looking at it. It was clear she wouldn’t even take my card to pay for the meal so again my friend had to play middle man. When she brought our cards back Angela handed both to my friend LOL, the disrespect and mistreatment was so terrible I can only laugh in astonishment. My friend and I discussed it the moment we walked outside. she apologized profusely. It was very evident and very clear that I was treated terribly and my friend continuously apologized, saying she was in so much shock at the blatant mistreatment I received from them. It’s fair to say that I will not ever be coming back to this place again. I’m so glad others received kinder treatment than I did, but if you’re like me and you look different, maybe air on the side of caution.

  Marino's is a five-gold-star neighborhood gem. Think casual and classy comfortable...great for a relaxing night out...or ramp it up and bring the kids...easy parking, call ahead for reservations. You'll feel right at home from the moment you walk in. The food? It's as good as it gets outside of Italy. This is the real deal - Marino (born in Italy) and staff cooking up each dish in the kitchen, visible from the dining room. Pasta made with ricotta. Are you kidding me? Wife Angela greets and seats. Servers are top-notch as well. The last time we dined here, Tish was our server. Friendly, attentive, and professional, she made sure we enjoyed our visit...all with a smile. "See you the next time. I'll be here!" Oh, and did I mention the decor? There's a beautifully designed bar incorporating glass wine bottles lit from the inside...you need to see it to appreciate it...and other lighting and decorative elements. Italian sports and videos streaming in the bar take you right there. I can't say enough good things about this place. Next time, make it Marino's. As nonna always said, "Mangia! Mangia!" "Enjoy this food I made for you."
