  Some of the best carnitas tacos I've ever had! Perfectly cooked and so fresh! The green salsa was amazing as well

  I recieve no service nor greeting the only time I get service is when the boss is there he is friendly and talks his customers his staff needs to pay attention to customers

  I’m at El Lucero at least once a week, and there’s a reason for that. The food is consistently incredible—like, the kind of place you start craving randomly on a Tuesday morning. Their $5 breakfast burritos are one of the best deals you’ll find anywhere, and they don’t cut corners either… packed, flavorful, and actually satisfying. But honestly, the real reason I keep coming back is the people. Every single time I walk in, I’m greeted with genuine kindness. Not the forced, corporate “have a nice day” kind—real, warm, good people who clearly care about what they’re doing and who they’re serving. It feels like you’re supporting a family, not just grabbing food. Places like this are rare. Great food will get you in the door, but the way they treat people is what makes you stay loyal. El Lucero absolutely nails both.

  Food had no flavor and no sauces available to add to it. Also bathroom was unavailable - said it was out of order. Tables were dirty and no one wiping them down after previous customers. Not busy when we ate there so no excuse not to keep it clean, employees were just standing around.
