Over $80 for this order, and I regret not just paying that at Carmine’s or somewhere that cared about food quality. The food was of poor quality, and the presentation was probably better at state-run correctional facilities. It just gave me the impression that they were here for a quick check-up and to get out of there.

A Domino's commercial came on advertising pizza any size any toppings for $9.99. The Domino's store is located in Highlands Ranch on University near the Ace Hardware. I went back to the store today and asked, why I was charged $18.89 when pizzas are advertised for $9.99. The young man I talked to said something about coupons, which were not mentioned in a commercial. He really did not have a very good explanation. Also, note that there are no prices on display in the store. So beware, unless you are aware of specials and ask for them, you are going to be charged what I consider a very high price for pizza. The pizza was just okay.

I clicked check in on the app. Then I waited for them to bring out my pizza. And waited. And waited. And waited. I sat in the carside pickup spot for 50 MINUTES. They looked at me multiple times. For the first half of that 50 minutes I thought they were just super busy and my pizza wasn’t actually ready. Then during the second half of that 50 minute wait I was trying to come up with excuses for them. “Maybe my order didn’t go through the system.” “Maybe they just forgot about me”. I finally went inside and I told them I had a pickup order for Alex. He grabbed a pizza box that was sitting on their shelf SINCE I FIRST PARKED. I asked him if the receipt said inside pickup or carside. He confidently told me without looking at the receipt that it said carside. He then proceeded to say… “We couldn’t bring you your pizza because you didn’t have your hazard lights on.” I was a little shocked at this comment. I thought I misunderstood him so I reiterated that I was waiting out there for 50 minutes. He just repeated that they weren’t going to bring my pizza out if I didn’t have my hazard lights on. I then asked for a refund because my pizza is definitely cold now after being ready for over an hour. The employee said “well if we refund you, we can’t give you your food.” I told him I know that and that I didn’t want the pizza. I wasted over an hour of my life for rude employees to purposely not bring out my pizza. I ended up going to a different Domino’s and got pizza. I told them this story and they were shocked. I have ordered carside dominos at many locations ever since they offered that pickup method and I have never not had my pizza brought out. Especially for such a petty reason. It doesn’t even tell you on the app instructions you have to put hazards on anymore.
