I was falsely accused of being a thief and I was trespassing. And instead of politely taking me off to the side or in the office the worker had to make it public and wait until I went to self check out to humiliate me without evidence that it was the right person. I won’t be returning to this Safeway again unless it’s for the pharmacy. Shame on Safeway for not having their facts straight. And since when is it a worker’s right to be harassing a customer when management should have come out and taken over the situation. I’m very disappointed with what has happened.

The MTN Service industry definitely has their challenges with staffing and Customer Service, unless privately owned. This Safeway is no exception, the checkout lanes and aisles are frustratingly too Narrow. Good news is if you need it, they may have it in smaller quantities or in a different brand with less variety. They will have the basic items, you may be surprised as you may find some specialty items too. Just lower your expectations a little bit, and celebrate the fact that you’re at 10,000 feet😁🌲🐿️
