  Great place!!! I brought a school bus filled with hungry baseball players, 26 of us in all, and the staff stepped up and did a super job getting our orders and food in a timely fashion. We came in around 7:30 pm so I am sure they were thinking time to start cleanup but they got right after it and took care of us and did it with a smile and a friendly attitude. That was fantastic! The food was very good also, I had forgot how good the cheeseburgers and ice cream were. The store was very clean, bright and inviting. The restrooms also were very clean. Great service, great food, great dining area and restrooms, a triple crown! Thank you!

  I have been to this DQ many times, almost everytime it has been great service and food quality. They get your food to ya quick and the place is always clean. Prices are fair and typical. If you are traveling through Las Animas and got the hungries you wont be let down and for ice cream this will be your best bet.

  Been going to this dairy queen for 4 years now. I have up on them a year ago due to under cooked food bad portions unfriendly staff and lack of cleanliness. Decided to give them another chance out of convience for my family tonight. We ordered $75 worth of food and i was really upset at the portions. We got the "family" or "basket" of onion rings and cheese curds and there was hardly any food in it. The onion rings cost $10 and there was like 16 rings in there and half of them were the size of a quarter. The basket of cheese curds cost $19 and it was like 3 smalls. Even the sides of fries that came with the meals I ordered and then paid more for were extremely lacking. There wasnt even texas toast with the 2 large chicken finger meals i ordered. I will say thay staff friendliness has finally improved. Even the food has gotten has gotten more fresh but it's a total rip off. I'll attach the only photo i took. 10$ for that.... yeah we wont be back. Such a let down i used to get both my sons birthday cakes here every year but not after tonight.
