  I see bad produce there often, but today there was so much rotten produce it's like nobody has looked at it in a month and I can't accept it any longer. Today I picked up a bag of lemons, got a face full of fruit flies and a rotting mess on my hands. Couldn't find a cantaloupe that wasn't puckered and rotting, yet there was a shelf full of them, not one edible. I should have taken photos but I was in a hurry. Brought home a bunch of "fresh" cilantro and when I undid the band to rinse it, had to throw away about 1/3 of it because it was black and slimy. The way the store is arranged is often nonsensical as well. The only reason it gets two stars is because the people who work there are always very nice and helpful.

  Giving this store only 2 stars. Shopping experience was fine. Organized and all. Mostly Friendly staff, except the meat guy who kept repeating "All day long", over and over until I felt uncomfortable and had to walk away. Then I went to the women's restroom by the pharmacy. It was horrendously dirty. I hope I dont get sick now. Walls and door were filthy, what looked like a bunch of BLOOD on the floor, no paper towels. Sink fixture looks 100 years old and is rotting away. This experience sicked me out, and I will never be back, and will tell everyone I know.

  Safeway is usually a good store to shop at. But you do gotta watch the dates on products.Sometimes they leave past do stuff on the shelf. But I think all grocery stores are to blame for doing that.

  price is higher than walmart and city market, they had no check outs open except self check out

  I find this store very cozy & lax to shop. They have a good selection of products, produce is well kept fresh every time I go, whoever manages and works the produce section could teach a thing or to about it to other stores. Especially to a certain red striped themed brand down the street (eastward), believe me, I happen to formerly know those people few years back of this, let's just say they were the kind of people who couldn't give a rat's hoot about hand hygiene, and they'd be touching stuff without a care in the world, and we wonder why stuff spoils so easily, over there at least. Though I do find the bakery to be meager every time I peruse the bagels and donuts, but I'm rarely bothered by it. Overall, I'm adequately satisfied with this Safeway branch.
