Came here for dinner for two. While the service was very good, I'll likely NOT return here for dinner. We had the deviled eggs appetizer, was dry with very little flavor. I had the Idaho Trout and the trout was wayyy overcooked and dry. The potatoes and veggies were good. My Mango Chile margarita was just mango juice on ice. . .with part of the rim covered in Tajin. . . would've been nice to actually taste the tequila. . .also would've been nice to have a chile slice or two in there. The restaurant was very busy on a Saturday evening and very loud. Finally, the prices here are simply $$$. . . .you definitely don't get your money's worth.

We decided to try this Lazy Dog for the first time because it had a really high rating and looked like it would be a good environment for a child. Maybe it was the wrong night, but I can't say I was impressed with either the food or the service. The food was underwhelming, and came out of the kitchen to our table at different times. And because the food was late (or the kitchen was behind) it impacted our server's ability to provide us good service and experience. For example, we didn't receive one of our drinks until well after the food was brought to the table. Otherwise, I thought the server (and others) were great. We really did like the stickers they provided along with the kid's menu. That is fun! Again, maybe it was a bad night for service, but when the food finally arrived, it didn't help make up for the already underwhelming experience.

Hit up Lazy Dog Restaurant & Bar recently and it’s such a cool, laid-back spot! The rustic lodge vibe inside is super cozy, but we had to sit out on the patio because it's completely dog-friendly—they even have a special menu just for pups! The regular food menu is absolutely massive, so there's literally something for everyone in your group. My burger was insanely good and paired perfectly with their house beer on tap. Service was super fast and friendly. Definitely an awesome place to chill on the weekend!

We were seated in a very noisy area next to the kitchen. The music and the kitchen were so loud that I couldn't hear the person next to me. You can hear all the clanking glasses and all the crashes from the stuff the cooks were dropping. We also got to experience all the smells of the cooking, my son got so nauseous from smelling brussel sprouts and some kind of fish mixed with the smell of burning cheese. Our waiter, a gentleman that seems like he was in some kind of personal crisis, gave us waters in glasses that are about the size of a thimble....no ice.... lukewarm water. This isn't our first time having a bad experience here. Another time when we were dining in, a waitress spilled another customers food plate on my lap. It destroyed a 75.00 pair of bugle boy slacks and I was covered in butter and fish juice. Anyways, on our last visit we ended up just leaving. I never felt so hungry and alone.....

We had such a great experience at Lazy Dog, and a huge part of that was because of our server, Dustin. From the moment he greeted us, he made us feel genuinely welcome. He wasn't just doing his job, he made the entire meal feel relaxed, enjoyable, and personal. Dustin was incredibly attentive without ever being overbearing. He checked in at just the right times, made sure our drinks stayed full, and anticipated what we needed before we even had to ask. It's rare to find someone who balances professionalism with such a warm and friendly personality. He answered our questions about the menu with confidence, gave thoughtful recommendations, and made sure everything came out exactly as we ordered. What stood out the most was his attitude. Even though the restaurant was busy, he never made us feel rushed or forgotten. He treated every interaction with kindness, patience, and a genuine smile. You could tell he truly cares about giving guests a great experience, and that level of service makes a lasting impression. It's easy to remember a good meal, but it's outstanding service that makes you want to come back. Dustin turned an ordinary dinner into an exceptional experience, and he's a big reason we'll be returning to Lazy Dog. If you have the chance to be seated in his section, you're in for excellent service. Thank you, Dustin, for going above and beyond and making our visit so memorable!
