If zero stars were an option, that’s what I would give this location.
I’m not typically someone who leaves negative reviews, but this experience was frustrating enough that I felt it needed to be shared.
I placed an online order for pickup at 12:05 p.m. and arrived about 10 minutes after the scheduled pickup time. My order wasn’t ready, which I completely understood, it looked busy. After waiting in line, the employee at the register greeted me very politely, checked on my order, and apologized that it still wasn’t ready. She was genuinely kind throughout the interaction, and I appreciated her attitude.
About 5-10 minutes later, she let me know they were out of the cheddar jalapeño bagel. I substituted mine for a blueberry bagel. She then asked what I wanted to substitute for the cheddar jalapeño bagel on the pizza bagel my boyfriend had ordered. Since he was waiting outside I called him really quick to ask. The call took less than a minute, but before I could answer her she had already started helping another customer, so I had to wait another five minutes just to give her the substitution.
In total, I waited about 45 minutes in the lobby after arriving, watching employees come and go during the lunch rush. To make matters worse, the entire store smelled strongly of smoke.
When I finally got back to the car with our food, my boyfriend asked where his smoothie was. I went back inside only to discover it had been sitting on the counter the entire time roughly and was completely melted. I normally wouldn’t ask for a remake, but at that point I felt I had to. The same employee was again very kind and happily remade it. Unfortunately, the “remake” consisted of pouring the melted smoothie back into the blender with more ice. It tasted fine, but it wasn’t exactly a fresh smoothie.
Once we finally looked through the rest of the order, we found even more issues. My blueberry bagel substitution was incorrect and they gave me an Asiago bagel instead. The bagel was absolutely drenched in butter and completely soggy. We paid extra to add chorizo to one of the sandwiches, and it wasn’t included.
The only positive thing I can say is that the cashier who helped me was polite, apologetic, and did the best she could. None of my frustration is directed at her.
However, waiting 45 minutes for a pickup order, receiving a melted smoothie that sat on the counter the entire time, incorrect substitutions, missing paid add-ons, and poor food quality made this one of the worst restaurant experiences I’ve had. I won’t be returning.
