The wheels keep locking up on the carts when I try to take my baby to the parking lot. I thought you were supposed to be able to use the carts to help load your groceries in the car?

I don't shop here often. If I do go in, it's for something specific. The short, older woman that works the self check out is always in a foul mood. She "helps", kinda. Today was the last straw though. I don't know why Safeway is hell bent on making sale prices so confusing with so many steps to get. You either want people to have the sale, or you don't. There was a sign when I walked in for 3.99 a pound cherries. Max 10 pound purchase. That's all that was on the sign. When it rang up for 5.99 a pound, I was confused, and asked the lady at the self checkout. She said it was a digital coupon. When I said, "Oh, okay, there wasn't anything but the 3.99 on the sign. But, okay." I wasn't mean. I was annoyed, but I wasn't mean or nasty. As I was walking away she yelled, "Read the rest of it." I yelled back, "There's nothing else on the sign. Right there 3.99 a pound. No reason for the attitude!" I called the store later to tell them that the sign didn't give all the info. My income takes a hit when I expect $4 but am charged $12!! The person I spoke with on the phone didn't identify herself but said she'd look at the sign. She sounded annoyed and the call ended abruptly. She said she'd look at it. Who knows if she will. But, I don't think I'll be shopping at any Safeway again any time soon. And, if I do, I'll be going to the one on 10th.

I have been going to the Safeway on Center place Drive for about five years now off and on. The only good thing that I can say about the Safeway is their produce department. It has the most fresh and best supply of vegetables and fruits than any of the other stores around here. But where they fall short time and time again is with the cashier staff. I just went today and the woman who was cashiering was a slow as a freaking snail. She was trying to help a lady with online purchases and instead of calling for help it took her 10 to 15 minutes to figure out on her phone and then she still ended up calling for help. As I stood in line to check out because they were the only cashier that was open my frustration and patience, were growing very thin. We stopped going to the Safeway particularly because of the problem with the cashiers, but also stopped because we stopped going to the Safeway gas station because it never worked. So needless to say We will only going back to that Safeway if we really need fruits and vegetables otherwise I think we’re done.
