Seriously the best people and best food. The customer service by everyone here is top notch. The main evening drive through guy (I think his name is Anthony) makes every visit outstanding. Worth every penny between food quality and customer service every single time I go!

I order at this location frequently through DoorDash. The order before last it was wrong. They put refried beans in the 2 veggie bowls when I specifically marked black beans. Since the veggie bowl was introduced at this location that is the only thing I order, ever. Last night I ordered 3 taco supremes, 2 veggie bowls and some cinnamon twists. Taco Bell on DoorDash offered a free 5 layer burrito on any food total greater than $22. If you met that total you just needed to add the burrito to your cart and it would automatically deduct the cost at checkout. My food totaled $41.55, well over the $22 required to qualify for the free item. When I checked out the burrito price was not deducted, forcing me to cancel that order and to reorder w/o the burrito since the only reason it was in my cart was because it was supposed to be free. I tried to find the phone# for that location to tell someone before my DoorDash person got there to pick up my order. I texted the “dasher” to see if he would talk to them for me since I didn’t find the phone# The person the dasher talked to said yes but then a “manager” said no, not without a loyalty code. I didn’t receive any loyalty code, because it never deducted the burrito at checkout and I cancelled and redid the order. Everybody knows that when you have food delivered from DD, the receipt is always attached. I guess it was just too much trouble to read it and see I ordered more than enough food to qualify for the burrito. Here is what I know for sure, the original owner of the first Taco Bell in Grand Junction, and all the subsequent locations, John Moss, would have made sure all his employees knew that if something like that happened, you should just give the item to the customer and not assume the customer was dishonestly trying to get free food. Because he knew that customer satisfaction, especially with evidence of purchase, is what guaranteed return business. How do I know that about the previous owner John Moss? Because I work at the original North Ave location shortly after John opened it. Also the manager then, Bill Feely would have done it that way because that is what John expected. Why am I name dropping? Because the current owner was trained by John and eventually became partners with him, before buying him out when John retired, and maybe he still cares about the basics he learned so many years ago. While I know that all the locations here in the valley have the same owner, I will go out of my way and never order from the Orchard Mesa location again. Not with that manager there. It’s the principle!

Stop gatekeeping the cheese like it's the holy grail I ordered a crunchwrap not a sour cream pie
