- JSJ SMay 5, 20261.0I handed a pair of disposable earplugs to a long-time employee at the Horizon store this morning who was operating a vacuum cleaner making an extremely high frequency sound. I did so because when I asked if the Store director was considering their long-term cumulative hearing damage, they replied that he didn’t seem to care anything at all about the well-being of his employees. Safeway could have valid workman’s comp. claims settled against them. One star because google won’t let me post NO stars! Come on Safeway. Do better.
