  Ordered two tacos to go with rice and beans...gave me a combo plate for $20. The tacos were good but not $10 a taco good. Then she said "see you next time." For the $10 taco special? Dang for a quick take out on a two taco and a side of rice and beans...at 4pm? Super Savage Sucker. Gunna take a long Conchitas break yo.

  Stopped by this spot this week and had an amazing experience! The shrimp cocktail was delicious, and their margaritas are definitely worth trying. Be sure to order a tamale—or two—you won’t be disappointed. The owner even brought out a dessert tamale, something I had never tried before, and it was absolutely delicious. Great food, welcoming service, and a unique menu make this place well worth a visit!

  I hate giving a bad review but this place has been hyped up so much I felt I needed to let people know. We went on a Friday right at 5pm and the place was crowded. We thought that was a great sign. The chips and salsa were good as well as their margarita. But the table was sticky and all the bottled sauces (Tabasco etc) had been clearly watered down. We went ahead and ordered. My husband got a carne asada burrito that had about 2 tablespoons of meat and the rest was beans and rice. The green sauce it was smothered in was not good. The tomatillos had not been roasted or cooked, just blended and warmed up. I had a red pork tamale and a carne asada taco. The carne asada was bone dry and the tamale wasn’t great. It’s very loud and the wait staff was few and far between. I’m so sorry because I wanted so much to like it.

  Today was my first time eating here and last. I ordered the red pork tamal and the Jalapone with cheese tamal rice and beans. The tamales had this green sauce that was very sour smothered on them. And then the tamales were cold. The jalapone with cheese tamal didnt have cheese. It was not authentic at all. I asked if the tamales were made fresh every day the waitress said yes. I dont think so. The chips and salsa were good. The pepsi was good. I wasnt impressed at all.
