I do not like to write negative reviews, but I am hoping this one will spark a change in service. My family of 4 arrived at the Chart House for our dinner reservation at 6:00. A 5th person was not able to join us, and when we explained that, the person said they needed to redo our table. We then waited 15-20 minutes for that to happen, even though the restaurant was not full at all. Two other groups were seated before us. When we were finally taken to our table, there were no menus. It took another 5 minutes to get them. Then we sat for 20 minutes with no one coming to help us. There were waiters working at all of the tables around us, and while they glanced at us, no one ever stopped to ask if we were being helped, etc. The one couple seated before us already had their appetizer. Another couple was seated beside us and got their water and bread basket. No one approached us. I finally got up to see if we could get some assistance, and a waitress who was working in the outside area talked with me. She apologized and brought over some water for us. She said she would talk to our waiter. Once the waiter came, he was apologetic and nice enough, but at this point--having been passed by and glanced at by so many waiters so many times--we were feeling awkward and unwelcome. Unfortunately, the service did not get much better. I had to prompt our waiter to take our drink and appetizer orders. Then when we were done with the appetizers, he asked us if we wanted a refill on our drinks, and I needed to prompt him to take our dinner order. It took a while to get our dinner because the waiter said two of the chefs left all of a sudden. ?? It then took forever to get our check. We didn't leave the restaurant until 8:30, and this was not because we were enjoying our time. We are pretty easygoing, and we understand if our waiter was new or the cooks walked out, but it really would have been nice if any of the other waiters working at tables right next to us would've checked in on us at least once and provided some water or something. It was extremely unwelcoming and almost embarrassing. We couldn't figure out why we were being ignored and almost left. If it hadn't been for the waitress I talked to, we would have. She was the only one who made us feel like we weren't in some weird alternate reality.

It is sad to see a great restaurant go down hill. The worst part was we were there to celebrate my birthday which they ruined. My partner she had salmon and it was a tail cut which dries out quickly. She got it with couscous under it was under cooked and tasteless cold. The salmon was over cooked and smelled fishy. I was in the food business if you can smell fish that is fishy you need to throw it out. I had prime rib. It was ice cold and tasted old. They gave us dessert since our dinner was ruined. I had key lime it was not creamy and smooth and not tart. My partner had mud pie. It was a giant piece of coffee ice cream with a little cocoa sprinkled on top.

This was my second time visiting the Chart House and it was another incredible experience. Sophia was our bartender & she was absolutely amazing. I love a good Manhattan and she made one of the best I’ve had in a very long time. Her bubbly personality and professionalism was impressive to say the least. If you’re craving a great cocktail and a welcoming environment, check this place out. Can’t wait to return!

I often stop at Chart House on my way back to Summit County, where I live, after enduring C470 traffic running errands in the Denver area. So far each visit has been a 5 star experience. It makes the C470 experience way more tolerable and the rest of the ride home very pleasant. Jason and Rick provided the absolute best service on my stop tonight (6/25/2026). I will always come back!

I’ve been to the Chart House a handful of times and have always had a wonderful experience. My mom and I came last Thursday for my birthday celebration and had the best time. Rachel was our server and made the night very special for us. The food and drinks were excellent. She knew we were on a bit of a time crunch and made sure everything was out on time and even made sure to remember what dessert I wanted before I even asked for it. I highly recommend this restaurant.
