- DHDavid Hahn5 days ago2.0Please let your foreign employees know that it is not okay to say “ni hao” to random Asian customers. While I was shopping in the meat aisle last night, a Senegalese employee who mentioned he was from Florida approached me and said “ni hao.” (I didn’t really think he was from Florida because he would know then it would be quite an inappropriate thing if he really was. Later he told me he was actually from Senegal) I was able to talk it out politely with him, and he was nice about it, but it was still really annoying to experience that kind of microaggression from an employee, especially at 10:30 PM after a long day.

She never smiles, always looks annoyed, and if you ask for help, she responds like you’re bothering her. It’s obvious she can be friendly because she laughs and talks nicely with her coworkers, but with customers she is dismissive, unhelpful, and disrespectful. That kind of behavior should not be tolerated in a customer-facing position. Management seriously needs to do a better job hiring and supervising staff. Experiences like this are exactly why customers choose to shop elsewhere.

- LSL SMar 31, 20261.0I was trying to put back a cart I ended up not needing, and the manager locked up the cart as soon as I started going through the door. I wasn’t expecting it (didn’t even know that was a thing) and it rammed right into my chest. The manager proceeded to laugh about it, and another employee just said “glad you thought it was funny” as she had to go finish putting away the cart. It was absolutely not funny, and hurt! Guess you just want people to abandon their carts in the aisles. I won’t be shopping here again if that’s how you treat people.
