But this morning I decided to come to Safeway because it is closer and I only needed a couple of things. Now I know why I hate this store and why we will never go back. There was a sign stating berries are 2 for $4. The sign was over the big packs. So I grabbed 2 big packs. We get to the self checkout and did not discount. I asked the lady and she rudely told me I have the wrong berries. So I went back and grabbed the right berries. Rang them up, still not 2 for $4. My blackberries scanned as strawberries- we verified we scanned the correct QR code. Ended up being $6.99 total. The checkout lady arguing. The ad did not match the sign. Nothing matched the scanned barcodes. Such a mess for 2 packs or berries. Such a reminder why we stopped shopping here
