Really good Mexican restaurant. Friendly staff provided great service and all the food had really good flavor. Pricing was very reasonable for a sit-down restaurant too.

It wasn't my fault you served me more than the 3 marg limit! But I also don't think that a lifetime ban in 2009 was really necessary. Sorry for partying!

The service was good, and the restaurant didn't make us wait to sit since we had a reservation. BUT,
we ordered our son the chicken tenders and as I was cutting into them for him I literally burned my finger. We all enjoy a warm meal, but what if my son had bitten into his food without waiting or for us to test that they were cooled down!? I've never even been served that hot before as an adult. This really irritated me the entire meal.
The restaurant also has an extra dining room that gets no air flow and smells like a wet dog and is humid. I assume this is where they put large parties and families with little kids...
We ordered the fajitas, and if it's between this restaurant and Chili's, I'd rather have the fajita's from Chili's. The veggies were dry, and their "famous" steak was so tough to bite into.
This is just another crappy restaurant that charges too much for bad food just because it's in Old Town Fort Collins.

Convenient location. Food was fantastic. I had spinach/squash enchiladas (I am not vegetarian) they were amazing! We were seated group of 9, server worked efficiently and was very helpful and attentiven to our needs. Would definitely recommend!

I have been a regular at this Rio for the past 14 years and let me tell you, it is one of my favorite local spots. Before the fire, the food was meh and the margaritas were AMAZING in flavor and you could feel the buzz after one, but NOW the food is amazing and the margs are meh. Lol Not sure what happened, but I still get a marg, sometimes I feel the buzz and sometimes can taste the old flavor but its weak.
I still love this place though! Overall it is great food, drinks and atmosphere!
People who need a food recommendation, Rio is known for their steak fajitas, and fried chile rellenos!!!!!!!!!!!
Its not a taco spot. Tacos are not bad, but not what they are known for!
Seriously, the rellenos are the best I've ever had, ever! The fajitas are so delicious, even the chicken and shrimp ones! Portions are large and the green chile is the best in Colorado 100%!!!!!!!!!! Get the vegetarian green chile, its so much better than the pork green chile.
I get a side of it for everything I order.
This is not your fat tex-mex food. It is scratch homemade kitchen with healthy ingrediants. The taste is fresh and delicious. I do not think it lacks flavor at all.
Anyways, I love my Fort Collins Rio and just keep hoping they bring back the old margs. đŸ˜˜
