they’re really friendly here , i enjoy the store itself (it’s not packed like walmart) and it’s a very calm setting - also not the biggest thing (but to some people it is) and i like how much fresher i feel their fruit is 😭

I normally get the parfait from the deli. Today, it had a huge long black hair in it. It was horrifying.

This location has a serious issue with employee conduct around the Pokémon vending machine, and it’s gotten to the point where it feels unfair and possibly coordinated.
On multiple occasions, employees have been hovering around the machine while on the clock, making it extremely difficult for regular customers to access it. One female employee who often works self-checkout at night repeatedly checks the machine during her shift. There is also a male employee—the same individual referenced below with slicked-back hair—who will stare customers down from a distance, give aggressive looks, and “mean mug” anyone approaching or using the machine. His behavior comes across as intimidating and creates a very uncomfortable environment.
There also appears to be a pattern involving certain individuals loitering around the machine for extended periods of time. It looks like there may be coordination between employees and specific customers, where people seem to be notified when product becomes available and then gather around the machine. It has been noticed 3 brothers and their father will constantly camp the machine and I believe these individual are partnering with store employees. This results in the machine being blocked and unavailable to others.
On April 17th at approximately 9:04 PM, another customer walked into the store and observed an employee (believed to be Nicole) standing directly in front of the machine with another employee and a customer. They were actively talking together while positioned in front of the machine, blocking access. When the customer approached, she made eye contact with them and quickly darted off, as if trying to avoid being seen standing there.
The other employee, a male with slicked-back hair, remained in place and continued blocking access. As the customer got closer, he began making comments implying that the customer could not stand there, while he could because he works there. He was reportedly smiling while saying it, which gave the impression that he felt entitled to occupy the space and control access to the machine. This is the same individual noted above.
The customer made it clear they were simply waiting their turn and not cutting anyone, only to realize the individuals standing there were not actual customers but were effectively holding the machine. The moment the customer attempted to use it, everyone walked away, which reinforced the impression that the behavior was intentional.
This situation raises serious concerns about fairness, professionalism, and whether employees may be using their positions to give certain customers an advantage. At minimum, it creates a hostile and uncomfortable shopping experience.
If this continues, this issue should be escalated to corporate for further investigation.
