  When chicken is ordered it should not be pink on inside.mine was also ice tea should be tea taste not colored water $4.00 is a bit much. Not empress with new Restaurant

  I am a long time resident of the Evergreen area. I have also been in the restaurant/club business for many years. I had frequented many of the previous businesses at this location and tonight was my first time at the Hummingbird Club. I have to say, the fresh scratch kitchen, variety of menu, gluten free items, as well as their fabulous dessert menu, was much more than I had expected. We had an amazing fried green tomatoes app with GF breading, light batter and not greasy. We were told the tomatoes may be going out of season soon unfortunately. Brussel sprouts app was also very good. My friend and I really LOVED the Truffle fries with various dipping sauces. Their gumbo had just the right balance of rice, sausage, chicken and authentic seasonings. To top it off, we enjoyed live music outside with a duo during our dinner. Not too loud so we could still catch up. We do not have young kids any longer, however, we noticed some of the kids tonight enjoyed the adjacent enclosed bouncy house which is perfect for parents who need to relax. I would have loved that back in the day! I am not sure if this is an all year round feature or not. I wished we had taken photos tonight, however, we will next time, as the outdoor patio had great views of the mountains with the right amount of shade from the sun sails. We will definitely be coming back soon with other friends as I had really wanted to try the jambalaya and beignets. I haven't had either of those since my last visit to New Orleans! Congrats to the owners and staff of this restaurant. Our server was very attentive. have heard their brunch is amazing also. My husband and I were getting tired of the same restaurant genre in Evergreen. This is a wonderful flavorful additional change to our area. Still enjoy the other Evergreen restaurants, however, I highly recommend that you try out The Hummingbird Club. They have done a great job!

  The Hummingbird Club is fantastic. Service was great. Food was wonderful. Classy atmosphere. Be sure and come; you don’t wanna miss out! Bon appétit.

  Miles is the best server ever! He is hard working with an amazing attitude. Also Josh and Sara are very kind. 10/10 experience, will be back. Definitely recommend!

  Staff was very friendly, but never checked in to see if we needed anything like more water after taking our order. It wasn't very busy, but food took at least 40 minutes to get. Asked for pepper and ketchup, but waited quite awhile food was getting cold, so I finally went inside to ask for it again again. Still waited at least 10 minutes. Coffee never came and in Omelet, bacon was forgotten. Owner offered discount on the omlet, but then waitress asked if I'd like her to bring me bacon instead, so I said sure. While waiting another 10-15 minutes for the bacon I ended up getting full on the potatoes and ketchup. On a positive note, the food we had was tasty.
