3/18/2026: In Estes Park, there is much a prevalence of local, family-owned restaurants in this small mountain town that acts as a prominent gateway to Rocky Mountain National Park, among the few chain restaurants, McDonald's happens to be one of the more successful options in the town.
Ordering on a Wednesday, I went through the drive thru after a day walking through the town in the early afternoon. The drive thru, was unfortunately very similar to other shoebox-style McDonald's locations, with two lanes and a speaker near the digital menu. When ordering, I noticed that the speaker quality was also subpar, and, because of such, it was hard to properly order my $6 Meal Deal due to the quality.
On the bright side, my McDouble Meal Deal came out quick, the food was hot and good, and I did get myself some extra fries in the bag, similar to Five Guys, however, my overall encounter at this McDonald's felt a bit rocky, I do plan on coming back in the future, in the hope that my service experience will improve.
