As a DoorDash driver, it really bothers me when restaurants expect us to work for free.
My job is to pick up the order and drop it off. That’s it. The order should be ready in the pickup area with the food, drinks, and everything included.
Today, the app had me arrive about 8 minutes early, which was fine. They were a little busy, but nothing extreme. The order ended up being about 5 minutes late, so I had already been there around 13 minutes before it was ready.
In all that time, nobody told me they expected the DoorDash driver to fill the drinks. Then, after waiting, I found out I was supposed to fill four drinks myself, and there was already a line at the drink station.
I do not get paid to prepare part of the customer’s order. I get paid to pick it up and deliver it. If a restaurant expects drivers to fill drinks, they should at least hand the cups to the driver when they arrive so it can be done while waiting.
Instead, this turned into about $7 for roughly 25 minutes in Estes Park before even finishing the delivery. That is not okay.
Restaurants need to understand that delivery drivers’ time matters too.

The cheese was an extra excitment. Until I noticed the ham. Normally its just a missed drink or side. Different sandwich is a first.
With the response from the owner id like to point out this is an entirely different sandwich from what was ordered. Not just an extra ingredient.

I ate one bite of this disgusting sandwich and threw the rest away.
The only thing fast about Jimmy John's anymore is the decline in quality. Fun fact: it now takes longer to make a JJ's sandwich than it does to paint the Golden Gate Bridge... and the bridge tastes better.
Close this place and open a Snarf's or a Cheeba Hut (where the food doesn't taste like actual garbage)... Or close this place and open a Subway (where the food does taste like actual garbage, but is still somehow better than this Jimmy John's)... Or just close this place- it would be a small step towards healing the world and saving mankind from its own destructive impulses.
TLDR: it's GROSS, don't go
Super busy - a good sign!
Service was good- sandwich was great.. I was impressed with the guy making the subs- never have seen someone move that fast! Impressive ..
Do you need a sandwich in 30-40 mins while waiting in the drive through? Do you enjoy paying the same price as a restaurant for it? This place is for you!
