I felt compelled to to reach out about the horrendous service I received from Kevin over the phone today. I called because my original order wasn’t enough food so I went to place an additional order, but it wouldn’t allow me to select the same time for pick up, so I was calling to see if I could either cancel my order or notate that it could be picked up at the same time as my earlier order. That is when I got connected to Kevin. I’m not sure if he was having a bad day, but from the moment our conversation began, he was rude, had an irritated tone and refused to answer any questions I had. I get that this job can be stressful, and I myself have worked in customer service. Not only would he not answer clarifying questions, ( everything was “ mmhmm” even when I asked if something should be this or that) but then when I finally got an answer from going “ okay so do you mean “‘mmhmm to this or mmhmm to that?” He said “ well I’d tell you if you would stop interrupting me.” I was completely taken aback and appalled at this point because I not only had been completely calm up until this point, but I had also sat in silence waiting for him to answer questions multiple different times. At that point I had him cancel my order because I was absolutely appalled. My husband and I own a quick service restaurant and if our team ever treated a guest the way I was treated we would be having a serious conversation and there would be reprimands. I could maybe understand this behavior from a new team member, but Kevin claimed he was a manager and that he’d been with this restaurant for over a year. I truly know how hard and mentally draining this job can be, but I was probably the first customer to call, and to be treated so poorly was shocking. This is to the point where we will never order from this establishment again. I would definitely suggest coaching Kevin on how to meet a customers needs better and even if he finds someone to be “ annoying” you should never treat a guest with such contempt. As I said, I hope he was having an off day, but we will be taking our business elsewhere, and I can guarantee if other guests are met with the same contempt, they will as well. I also will note I’ve tried to call twice to speak to Kevin’s manager, Jody and I suspect he’s the one “ answering” the phones as I’ve been hung up on twice. It’s just pretty sad for this to be how guests are met these days.

I don’t usually order pizza for delivery because it almost always shows up soggy, lukewarm, and disappointing. But this experience completely changed my mind.
I ordered a large pepperoni pizza and an order of cheese sticks, and everything arrived hot, fresh, and tasted like it had just come out of the oven. It was easily the best Papa John’s I’ve ever had. The pizza was perfectly cooked, the cheese sticks were delicious, and the quality was way better than I expected.
A special shoutout to our delivery driver, Joel. He was friendly, professional, and made sure everything arrived quickly and in perfect condition.
If this is your local Papa John’s, you’re lucky. I’ll definitely be ordering from this location again.
Joel has officially ruined every other pizza delivery experience for me. At this point, I’m not ordering Papa Johns for the pizza—I’m ordering to see if Joel is delivering it.
Every time he shows up, the food is hot, the order is right, and he’s always friendly. I don’t know what kind of GPS, teleportation device, or secret shortcuts he’s using, but somehow he gets here faster than I expect every single time.
The guy deserves a raise just for putting up with hungry people all day. Rain, shine, late at night—it doesn’t matter. Joel shows up like it’s the most important delivery of the day. If pizza delivery had an All-Star team, he’d be the captain.
Papa Johns is lucky to have him. If Joel ever starts delivering anything else, I might have to switch brands. Thanks for always making pizza night better, Joel. You’re an absolute legend, and I hope someone at Papa Johns sees this and buys you a well-deserved raise… or at least an extra slice.

Where do I begin…. Pizza crust was so hard and stale it was inedible. Cheese bread had burnt crumbs all over the bread/in the box. Wish I would have taken pictures but wow what a terrible experience. And as much as this sounds false, it gave me immediate diarrhea.

Ordered New york style. Did not get New york style. The pizza wasn’t cut. It was also significantly undercooked, and had way too much cheese on it..
