We eat here almost every week. We have been coming here for years. We have never had a bad meal, the food is consistently good. They have a great patio with a view of Sloans Lake. The best part is the servers. They have all worked there for years and are the nicest people. We especially love Jodi, Tom, Megan and Jamie but the hostess is sweet and the support staff are all great as well. As are many of the other service staff. We have never had a bad experience. It's lively and fun. An Edgewater fixture for good reason.

Had breakfast at Rupert's this morning. Can't say enough good things. The coffee was strong & hot; service was prompt, personal, and pleasant; the food was quick, hot, fresh, and delicious.

My family had a wonderful meal, food was delicious service was swift, and cordial. Wait time on a busy Saturday late morning was nominal. Ate on patio which was very enjoyable. Sample Lox Benedict which was very appealing and tasteful. Son had burrito which he thoroughly enjoyed. His wife had the truffle frittata and was pleased. Grandson had child’s Sloan breakfast with a side of bacon which he readily devoured. Table shared a cinnamon roll which was Huge! Price was agreeable. Will def return again. Mabel Enjoyed Dog friendly atmosphere . All in all a very happy well fed family!

A real gem by Sloan’s Lake. Even when packed to the gills, the staff stays super warm and on top of their game. They nail the classic American breakfast staples—the corned beef hash is ridiculously crisp and flavorful, and the biscuits and gravy are sheer comfort on a plate.

Man, I’m so disappointed it’s taken me 7 years of patronage to finally review Rupert’s. This place is the best breakfast spot - I literally crave to come here every week despite my wallet not allowing it. Anytime we have someone visiting in town - we take them here and buy them a mug. We recommend it to all of our Airbnb guests as well. The food always hits - and so do the bloody’s & mimosas! A long queue or wait has never deterred me or my fiancé- it’s always worth it. And the real chef’s kiss here is our favorite waiter, Tom. He is so kind, thoughtful and funny! So yeah, no notes. If you’re reading this - get on over to Rupert’s you won’t be disappointed!
