  The pharmacy requires diagnosis code on prescriptions. I transferred scripts and their policy created quite a delay. Got it straight, now. The pharmacy gives you a coupon for every 5 prescriptions you feel and they give you some more when you get vaccinated. Every little I can save helps. I really appreciate those coupons.

  Had exactly what we needed and it was quick and easy to access. Only issue is that safeway is quite a bit more expensive than Kings but not quite as much as the other competition.

  Tried using the self-checkout line and an attendant gets called over saying it’s because I “forgot to give it my phone number.” Are we serious? What else does it need, my shoe size? How about I save us the effort and give it a blood sample. The lengths these companies go through to gather as much data as possible is egregious. Just to fuel their “surge pricing” algorithms or whatever term they use but let’s be honest, it’s just another excuse to take as much money from their customers as possible and appease their mighty shareholders. I’m so sick of this nonsense.

  “I had an extremely uncomfortable experience at this Safeway location. While I was simply checking out my items at self-checkout, I felt as though I was being treated like a suspected criminal. One security guard was closely watching me, another was positioned directly behind me, and there was yet another guard at the front. I completely understand the need for store security, but good security should be effective without making ordinary, paying customers feel targeted, intimidated, or watched like a hawk. I had done absolutely nothing suspicious, yet the level of scrutiny made a simple grocery trip feel incredibly uncomfortable. Customers should be able to shop and check out without feeling as though they are under surveillance for no apparent reason. Unfortunately, this experience was unpleasant enough that I will not be returning to this Safeway location.”
