  I went to Safeway with my girlfriend I know all the staff so I introduced myself to a new courtesy clerk. This courtesy clerk was named Adrian and when I said hello he talked down to me and didn't help me find what I needed "I don't know you I don't need to respect you." I walked away with my girlfriend. Horrible customer service from Adrian.

  Just ran into store to pickup Rx. Which was sent to another Safeway. The pharmacy offered to transfer the Rx. I needed to pickup drinks while she did this. Quickly done and not a bad looking Safeway inside.

  Horrible place to shop. Been avoiding it for years, but had to stop by. Saturday before Fourth of July and they have one poor older lady doing the job of 10 people. Not one single lane open. A line of 20+ people waiting for a self check out. This happens every single time I go, pay your people better and if you’re in this situation management needs to step in. What a horrible place to work, I hope the employees finally quit and go somewhere they are treated better. It’s clear Safeway does not care about the customers at all.

  The meat department here is very lazy and rude. Twice this year they've sold us expired meat off the shelf that supposedly says its still good. I was there on Saturday June 13th and gave the cashier back some lamb I was going to purchase because there was a hole in the plastic wrap, I returned to do regular grocery shopping on Tuesday June 16th and the SAME LAMB that I had given the cashier that was open was still open on the shelf. When I handed it to the meat dept employee and explained what haf happened and I didnt want anyone sick, he took it and said hed handle it. Well the handling of it was wrapping the open meat package in plastic wrap, on top of the old, and returning it to the shelf. They are going to cause a serious sickness one day continuing these practices, and I hope someone educates them on proper handling before that happens.

  Most of the food is due 2 days before the expiration date, especially the deli meats and cheeses. The bread is stale and old. I don’t get why I should pay for old food. I can count only a few items on my fingers that are good, such as the crab, chicken, and tuna salads (when they do have it), chunks of watermelon and the baked French bread, but that’s it. Don’t bother for the rest. Oh, and I couldn’t find cold water. Some of their freezers are broken. The plant department is good.
