  I have to give this place five stars, not just because the food was fantastic, but because the whole experience turned into an adventure. I decided to let AI choose a restaurant for me, and it sent me to Royal Taw Win. I’d never been here before, and I’m so glad I trusted it. The first surprise? They’re BYOB! The staff told me there wasn’t any beer sold in the restaurant, but they said I could grab some a couple of doors down and bring it back. So I made a quick beer run, came back with a 12-pack of Sapporo, and suddenly my dinner turned into a fun little side quest. 😂 The restaurant itself is cozy, quiet, and welcoming. It has that hidden neighborhood gem feeling where you immediately get the sense that the food is going to be the real star. I ordered the Tea Leaf Salad, Goat Curry, Egg Paratha, Jasmine Rice, and paired it all with an ice-cold Sapporo. The Tea Leaf Salad was unlike anything I’ve ever had. Fresh, crunchy, tangy, nutty, and packed with flavor. The Goat Curry completely stole the show. The meat was so tender it practically fell right off the bone. The spice level was perfect. It wasn’t the kind of heat that instantly burns your mouth. Instead, it slowly builds with every bite until you’re smiling, sweating a little, and reaching for another bite anyway. 😂 It had that slow, flavorful heat that keeps you coming back. The Egg Paratha and jasmine rice were perfect for soaking up every last bit of that incredible curry sauce. I wasn’t about to leave any of it behind. What impressed me just as much as the food was the service. It was impeccable. The timing was almost unbelievable. Once I finished eating, I simply consolidated everything onto one plate to make the table easier to clean. I never asked for dessert or even looked around for the server. Somehow she noticed I was finished and appeared with dessert at exactly the right moment. It felt effortless, attentive, and incredibly professional. This is exactly the kind of hidden gem I love discovering. Great food, wonderful people, a cozy atmosphere, and a fun BYOB twist that somehow made the evening even more memorable. Sometimes letting AI choose dinner turns out to be one of the best decisions you can make. Royal Taw Win definitely earned a new fan, and I’ll absolutely be coming back to continue exploring the menu.

  Although we were unfamiliar with many of the menu items, our short comming, the food was delicious. The entrees were family sized and for an amazing price. We'll worth the drive!

  Food was flavorful but portion size was small. Thai hot wasn't as hot as I'm accustomed to. I paid extra for tofu + veggies and there was like 6 bites of tofu and barely any veggies. Also paid extra for brown rice and there was ab 1 cup of rice

  The food is excellent, the service can be a little slow but the staff interactions were great. You want Thai food, this is the place.

  Overwhelmingly bad. I think the papaya salad was microwaved from frozen. Veggies pale (like the tomato and beans) and totally flavorless. Pad Thai and broccoli beef noodles so salty, oily, and mushy. No lime to help. You must know this is not working guys. We really tried to eat this and couldn’t stomach it.
