My biggest concern was food safety and cleanliness. The food did not look fresh and appeared as though it had been reheated multiple times. Several items, including the onions and salsa, did not appear fresh. The salsa was bubbly, which made me concerned that it may have been left out overnight. The food preparation area was also not being properly maintained. There was dried food and sauce splatter around the food containers and backsplash that appeared to have been there since the previous day. The counters and condiment stations were not clean, giving the impression that they had not been properly wiped down after closing. Based on what I observed, it appeared that some food may not have been stored properly overnight. If food is not handled and stored at safe temperatures, it creates a serious risk of foodborne illness and potential food poisoning. This is a public health concern that could also expose the business to significant liability. I believe the health department should conduct more unannounced inspections, especially regarding food storage, temperature control, and the handling of condiments and sauces that may be left out for extended periods. Employees would also benefit from additional food safety and sanitation training to help ensure proper cleaning procedures and safe food handling practices are consistently followed. My hope is that these issues are addressed before someone becomes seriously ill.My biggest concern was food safety and cleanliness. When I first walked into the restaurant, the first thing I noticed was a significant amount of food debris on the counters and food preparation areas. The surfaces where sauces and condiments were stored had not been properly wiped down from the previous night. The salsa, in particular, appeared bubbly, indicating it may have been left out overnight. This is a serious food safety concern and has the potential to make someone sick. My biggest concern is ensuring that food is handled, stored, and maintained safely to prevent foodborne illness. When customers walk into a restaurant, they should immediately see clean counters, sanitized food preparation areas, and fresh, properly stored condiments. There should never be leftover food residue from the previous night’s operations. I believe more time needs to be dedicated to thoroughly cleaning and sanitizing the restaurant at closing each night and verifying cleanliness again before opening each morning. All old food, dirty materials, and expired or questionable condiments should be disposed of immediately. Maintaining a clean environment is essential for food safety, customer confidence, and overall restaurant standards.

It was not a perfect experience but still give a five star rating. Was hosting a gathering and had ordered online catering for pickup. The order was not ready at the designated time. The staff was working diligently to prepare the order but seemed to be short staffed and/or on a shift change. They were very apologetic. When unloading the food at home, an item was missing. I called the store and they quickly remedied. They prepared the missing item and delivered it (I did not live far). The food was very tasty and my guests thoroughly enjoyed their meal. Kudos to a hard working, kind and service oriented team. Hope that management/owners will share this feedback directly to this team.
