The vegetables looked fresh, which was a plus, but the meats were another story. Some looked dry or burnt, and there wasn’t much flavor. We also ordered chips and guacamole. The portion was actually pretty good, but the guacamole was too sour for my taste and I couldn’t really taste much garlic or other seasoning. The biggest issue for us was the service. Everything felt very mechanical, almost like the staff were just going through the motions. There was some difficulty communicating even when asking for simple things like a fork, knife, and spoon. I had to repeat myself several times before they understood. After checking the bag later, we realized the spoon was still missing. The gentleman at the cashier, who may have been a manager, also seemed stressed and became defensive when we tried to communicate with him. There didn’t seem to be much ownership of the situation, and the interaction wasn’t very pleasant. I understand airport restaurants can get extremely busy and stressful, but a little friendliness and attention to the customer would make a big difference. Fresh look vegetables and decent portions for the chips and guacamole, but the dry meat, food quality, and especially the service need improvement.
