I was visiting my mom from Dallas. She was told Nola Voodoo Tavern was a great restaurant. I am so glad we came! The food was amazing. I highly recommend the fried okra, red beans & rice and crawfish etouffee. Very well seasoned just like the classics in New Orleans. The server and owner were very nice and even brought out some samples for us. I will definitely come back on my next visit!

Love the atmosphere. Authentically NOLA environment but unfortunately I had a bad experience. I found a long stringy brown/blonde hair in my catfish poboy. So disappointed and disgusted. I immediately was turned off. Mistakes happen but I personally think he needs to replace those cooks permanently. People who cook Cajun/Creole food take pride in their craft and I just don’t see it in that crew. Perhaps I came on a bad night. But people who love to cook put love in their food not their hair. I don’t mean to complain but people have to know so this will not happen again. How you mess up a poboy? Stop disrespecting southern cuisine with the lack of proper culinary hygiene and etiquette. Ya heard!!

Nola is amazing. I’ve been going here for years, since before they moved buildings. The owner is so nice and always talks to us and checks in. The food is amazing as always. I had the catfish and étouffée. Crispy, hot, and well flavored. The price is not too expensive. Highly recommend.

The food and atmosphere will transport you to a familiar corner of the French quarter. An experience that many in Denver have attempted but few have mastered to this level. The focus on service is evident from every employee with the owner always checking in on everyone’s experience. The kitchen can get overwhelmed at busy times leading to longer wait times, but one should never be in a hurry when imagining yourself in the big easy. The community is so fortunate to have this establishment.

I've been visiting for years and stopped by today to check out the new location because it's been awhile! The food is always fresh, hot, and delicious. The atmosphere gives you that southern love surrounded by nostalgic New Orleans inspired comfort! I have to talk to the owner every chance I get because he's always working and I appreciate his dedication and effort to make every customer enjoy their time there. Pop up for a Saints game if you can it's a party and I highly suggest trying everything at least once because I have. 10/10 or 5 stars and perfect to me.
