I am from southern Louisiana, cajun land, and Nola Voodoo is the closest I can get to home. The atmosphere is great and the food is the most authetic creole/cajun food you can find in Colorado. Our favorites are the hurricanes, fried okra, fried gizzards, shrimp and catfish poboys, the gumbo, and red beans and rice. The jambalaya is also good (for a red jambalaya 😉 ifkyk). Thank you to Mr. Batiste for bringing a little bit of home here to Colorado.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Such a great experience at Nola Voodoo Tavern! The food was delicious, the atmosphere was fun, but honestly Christy absolutely KILLED IT for us! She was so friendly, attentive, and made our whole experience that much better. Great food + amazing service = an easy 5 stars! We’ll definitely be back! ❤️

Stumbled upon this neighborhood bar and was kind of stunned. Gorgeous decoration. Great service. Seasoned food like I’m actually back in the South. Tons of TVs, pool tables, darts, music.

Let me preface this by saying I was born, raised and spent nearly my entire life in Southern Louisiana, about an hour south of NOLA. Also we doordashed our order so I can't really comment on atmosphere/service. Catfish Crawfish etouffee Red beans and rice Gumbo Okra Alligator General notes: Under seasoned by an order of magnitude. Which may be excusable if you're trying to tone it down for the palate of CO folks. The etouffee was the best part. The catfish a strong second. Okra, on point, could have been a tad crispier. Didn't get to the red beans and rice yet. The Alligator...the chunks were too big, making it cook in a way that left the texture pure rubber. Alligator is best in smaller bite sized pieces or thin strips. The gumbo, tasted like smoke, pure smoke. I fear you guys used smoked sausage instead of andoullie, which might be fine in some instances but it imparted a overpoweringcrisper. All in all, not disappointed; just could have been better
