I was so excited seeing the giant crawfish platters, I JUST KNEW the crawfish etouffee would be AMAZING!!😔No. The flavors were there with 4 pieces of crawfish in the bowl.. so basically the dish was good for 4 bites. Makes me wonder if they used frozen crawfish for the etouffee and only serve the fresh crawfish for the platters... either way not worth the money. The shrimp seemed to be fried from frozen and the fried catfish fillets were small and not very seasoned...Sorry NOLA ..if you're going to be in the hood you might want to step it up. On a good note, the Red beans and rice are great..but again if you're looking for sausage in it.. don't blink or you'll miss it.

Food is delicious and atmosphere is really fun! Staff is so friendly and really make the experience top-notch. Our 18 month old was a bit hangry when we arrived and was laughing within minutes. He left full and happy and so did we. Don’t miss out on the cake, both the pineapple and blueberry were some of the best cake I’ve had anywhere. 10/10 recommend and will come back.

The food at NOLA Voodoo Tavern was pretty good and I really enjoyed the atmosphere — fun vibe, great energy, and definitely a cool spot to check out. I visited on a Saturday night with a friend, and while it wasn’t overly busy (aside from a couple larger parties), the service was a bit sub-par. Both servers were friendly and seemed to be working together well, but it was noticeable that the larger tables were getting most of the attention while our table of two felt overlooked at times. We experienced slower service than expected and had trouble getting consistent attention throughout the meal. Again, the staff was personable and kind, so this isn’t a knock on attitude, more so attentiveness and prioritization. Overall, I enjoyed the food and atmosphere, but I think there’s room for improvement on the service side, especially making smaller tables feel just as valued as larger parties.

Have not had food this good since we were in New Orleans. I got the sampler and my husband had the fried catfish. I also had a hurricane and again, have jot had one that good since Bourbon Street. We enjoyed the friendly staff and fun atmosphere. We will be back!
