The place was nice, good decorations, very minimalistic, clean, with large windows.
I walked in and they seemed a little scattered about someone walking in through the front door. I am not sure if this is because most guests come over from the attached hotel.
I was seated and asked for the lunch menu and was told that they have very specific times they serve each menu and I had just missed out on lunch. If I recall properly there was snack food on the menu I was handed, but it was also timed, but in the future by about 15 - 20 minutes, leaving an odd gap.
Once the bartender, who was my server, came over, we discussed options and I asked if the lunch soup would be a possibility. She did check, and it was, which was extremely kind of her.
Overall the soup, corn soup, was good. It was creamy but had a few too many chunks for my taste in a corn soup. I also got a cappuccino which was fine, definitely a dark roast espresso.
When I was presented the bill I felt a little rushed, which felt odd for the afternoon of a Tuesday with not many customers. Other guests at other tables were sitting and talking as the rain poured outside. I mostly was looking for an easy lunch, a nice coffee, and a place to sit and watch the rain while I ate, which this did provide.
Overall, I wouldn't write it off, and it may be a resturant I explore again when I have more of a group with me to see if that makes a difference. But definitely some notable items for a resturant in the Cherry Creek mall area where people may want to eat more sporadically as they are shopping, going to appointments, ect.
