  Absolutely amazing staff. So kind and attentive. It actually felt like they enjoyed having me were as most restaurants you feel like a burden. It was a real pleasure and the sushi was top notch. The Wagyu Beef Roll was just a flavor bomb of delight. And the brown rice green tea was the ultimate palate cleanser. The Gyoza it the spot and the Cali Roll was perfect sticky sweet crab avocado combo. Talk about a perfect gem on Colfax🙏.

  Went a date here the other night. I have to say this place is probably the best Japanese food I've ever had. Super Authentic and Delicious! I can't wait to come back for more! A+++ 👍👍

  Calm and well decorated environment, even with more than half the seats filled (including a few families with kids!). Good playlist, great service, and yummy food! We got chicken karaage, a tuna avocado roll, a yellowtail scallion roll, and a crazy roll (spicy tuna + jalapeño inside, seared tuna and some type of sauce on top). Also got Tamano Hikari Junmai Ginjo sake. All was delicious, with the karaage, tuna, and crazy roll being absolute standouts. Amy was our server and she was exceptional. Very kind & attentive! While we were in conversation, she filled our glasses and spilled barely a drop of water. She quickly grabbed a napkin and stealthily wiped the tiny splash without us even noticing! She also helped me pick between two sake choices. Also, since moving to Denver in 2020 I have not had a single fantastic tuna roll. I’ll tried a ton, they have all been mid. But this place? FANTASTIC. Flavorful, delicate, and rich melt-in-your-mouth texture. Go here for sure!

  Sushi rolls seem to be freshly made and delicious. The way they cooked my supposedly medium rare steak weren’t cook at all but soaked in sauce instead. Other thing noticed is when their suggested tip, it’s the grand total. Why would I want to give a tip on top of the tax I have to pay? It’s already bad tip percentage is already being suggested to their patrons.

  Stumbled upon this in a google search and came here with my family on a Friday evening. After the experience we had I’m shocked we were able to get a table, clearly people just haven’t caught on yet but once they do, prepare accordingly. The ambiance was beautiful, fun and funky but not overdone, they played good music which fit the mood well. The food was exceptional. We had Garlic Edamame, Egg Rolls and Miso Soup for Apps, all were fantastic. Two had sushi for dinner and the fish was fresh and rice was cooked to perfection. I had the tonkatsu ramen and was thoroughly impressed, better than many “acclaimed” ramen spots in Denver. This will be a mainstay for me, it’s great too because it has variety so if someone wants sushi and someone wants ramen another person wants donburi, you can do it all.
