  This is pegged as a premium steakhouse but just average. The filet mignon was undercooked on the rare side for a medium then overcooked when they tried to recook it. Some servers were really good while others may not be a right fit in customer service due to their behavior not being helpful.

  It’s been awhile since I’ve been to Del Friscos as I often cannot afford a $500 dinner for two people plus another $150 for a babysitter. But it was Fathers Day and my wife and I wanted to do something special. The quality of the food has definitely declined over the last few years Ordered the Octopus appetizer. The octopus was so tough I could barely chew it. I could barely get a knife through it. Ordered the calamari appetizer. For the price you think you could get more than 10 squid rounds. The portion looked decent because they mix it with a bunch of bean sprouts. Before entrees I selected the Lobster Bisque. It was so bland. It actually reminded me of a restaurant depot or Sysco like frozen product that I’ve tasted before. I ordered the 16 oz prime ribeye Medium Rare. The cut was definitely not a prime cut. It was cooked medium rare, but it was really not that tender. For almost $80 I’d expect a very high quality cut. We ordered the Lobster Mac and Cheese side, the creamed corn side, and the asparagus side. The Lobster Mac was fine. But the noodles were so over cooked they were like mush. And the lobster is definitely not fresh. It’s a frozen product. Probably a 2 pound pre packaged Claw Knuckle Leg from Sysco or something similar. We asked for our sides to go as we were full and ready to go home. We couldn’t even get everything packaged individually. It was all wrapped in tinfoil and placed in one container that bled into each other. I only ate a few spoon fulls of the soup and they literally gave me like a 6 oz cup. Where did the rest go? I was going to take it home and season it properly to eat. None of this is an exaggeration or an attack. Just honesty. Our server was nice and the cocktails were good.

  Had a great experience again yesterday for lunch with my husband! Staff are very friendly, open and welcoming. Our server "Oli" was amazing as always. Even met the manager "Chris" this time who could not have been friendlier and just wanted to make sure we had an awesome experience. Lobster roll is the best that we've found since moving here from the East Coast!

  Although the cigar lounge is no longer there (it saddened me) the food and old fashions are wonderful

  I don't want to let the secret out. But this is a fantastic place to get lunch!
