called in a few minutes before close and they were happy to make me a to-go cheeseburger. i had to try my first bite before hitting the road and am impressed i made it home without demolishing the whole thing. i’ll have to eat there next time - the joint gave an old timey diner vibe that’s hard to find these days.

Okay, Crown Burger, I think you just earned a new regular.
I’d heard you could still get a genuinely good burger here for under $10, so I had to investigate. Mine came out to around $8 WITH TAX, and dude… it was fantastic. Hot, fresh, messy in exactly the way a burger should be, and made with ingredients that actually tasted like food.
Then I left and noticed McDonald’s literally across the street and thought, why is anybody going over there when THIS exists for basically the same price??
Also, the whole experience was ridiculously easy. I ordered directly through Crown Burger’s website, no third-party app, paid online, and my order was ready in about nine minutes. I had Thumper with me, so rather than go inside I pulled up to the drive-through window since there was no line. They were totally cool about it AND hooked him up with bacon as a drive-through dog treat. 😂
Great service, great burger, great price. And apparently I live dangerously close, so this is excellent news for me and potentially terrible news for my self-control.
10/10. I think I just found my neighborhood alternative to fast food. This is real food.

I tell everyone I know about this place since I found it. Guaranteed satisfaction everytime. Great portion, great taste, great value, and great business! Just spent my last 15$ and I'm not even mad about it!! W Burgerz 🙏🏻
So. I've lived here for over 30 years and have never eaten food from the legendary Crown Burger. Service- dude at the take out window was cool, great attitude. Atmosphere- don't know, didn't go in. Price- approx $37 for 2 bacon double cheeseburgers, onion rings and a medium(small) iced tea. You tell me. Food. Tea was very good. Onion rings- the batter had -0- flavor. I poured some salt on them, they were better, but out the window? No bueno. The burgers were big, filling, but could have used some kind of seasoning so that the meat stood out from the rest. That's my report, make of it what you will.

I've been coming here for years, and it's never let me down. The breakfast burritos are generously sized, and getting them smothered in green chile or, chile inside, is the way to go. The pastrami burger is another standout, and the fries with Crown sauce are an absolute must. If it's your first visit, you really can't go wrong with any of those.
