  Wanted something healthy and delicious. Ordered the steak hammissa bowl. Menu has a picture of a serious bowl and a hearty looking meal. What I got was a half of a bowl of food for 17 dollars. And they are asking me what I want in it? What do you mean? It’s your menu. I want what’s supposed to be in it. Cava is a hard pass from here on out. Lazy employees.

  This was my second time at this Cava. My first experience was not that good with customer service. However, this time the young man was absolutely delightful and listened to me perfectly as I said what I wanted in my bowl. I appreciate the good customer service. The food is always pretty good. If recommend it.

  We went around 830 pm on 5/8. I mean the food was good, but EVERY time I ever go to a Cava they are out or missing items. This has been an issue for years though. This is my 5th or 6th visit and that never fails to happen. The workers are don't communicate very well at all, there was a small line when we showed up and they have 1 guy standing around doing almost nothing. Another guy was making orders and doing the register by himself, slowing everything down immensely because he is new. Not his fault but they were just letting this guy drown. There people in front of us were more frustrated than I was. There was another guy cooking meat but he was just standing there while it cooked. Didn't greet anybody coming in, barely looked at us and was watching the guy struggle working alone. Then as we are getting to the last selection of choices, 2 of the workers "helping" us are talking and joking and completely ignoring that we are right in front of them. Completely unorganized and bad workplace etiquette. Maybe we don't go out to eat enough and this is how the retail workforce is now, but it was just a bit of a bad service experience. Not 1 star but they are far from even 4 stars Also a bit pricey for 2 bowls...at least add more ingredients if you're going to charge that much.

  I LOVE cava, and I come here when I can. But recently the stinginess here has been a bit unbearable. It’s kind of a gamble with whichever person you get making your bowl. And I believe coming at a busier time would get you more of your moneys worth. In the advertised photos it shows bowls filled to the brim with lettuce! When I ordered I asked for 80% lettuce 20% rice. The lettuce didn’t even cover the bottom of the bowl, I politely ask for more as I’d never seen so little prepared for me, he says it costs extra… I’m like cmon man you didn’t even do the base… makes you a little intimidated during, and disappointed after when after you’re done it’s just a toppings bowl, when all advertised photos show just a much more pleasant balance of salad….. I guess cava wants to play the chipotle game and lose sight of what’s important - customer satisfaction that comes from true execution of promotion of product, not someone’s intuition of how much they think you deserve before deciding to charge you more.
