    Bonnie Brae has the best products, team and vibes in this town. Having their own delivery team is such a bonus. No need to deal with apps. Hurrah! See you in aisle 4 y'all.

    I ordered through door dash 3 bottles of pickle juice and door dash used this company for the items and delivery. The person said they rang the door and knocked. Which never happened my partner nor I ever heard them. Then they called. When I called them back to ask where my order was they said they need to see my ID. I asked you need to see my id for pickle juice? He looked in the bag said oh nvm. I told him to leave the order on the black table next to my door. When I called again to see where the order was they said they delivered it and that they had photos. Which is not true. So they basically tried to steal my money and leave me with no product this is a horrible business practice and business. I would get any products from this deplorable awful business. If they did deliver it they clearly didn’t deliver to the right address and didn’t care to fix the issue run far and fast from this place!! Update: in response to your response as it will not give me the option to respond I have tried to dispute this with DoorDash and they refused to give me my money back and I would love photos because I am absolutely positive it was delivered to the wrong address even though the correct address is on the DoorDash account, however, sometimes people do deliver to the exact same address but South Leyden not just Leyden and perhaps the driver put in South Leyden on accident. I have had to call my bank to get a dispute going because of this on a matter of pickle juice I feel like this is the most ridiculous disappearance of pickle juice I have ever experienced in my life. Furthermore, we did not get any sort of ring on the doorbell or knock on our door and I was not the only person in the house. I wasn’t expecting to get a call and I wasn’t thinking about having to show ID or meet person to person for a simple pickle juice order the whole matter, however is incredibly frustrating even if it does sound ridiculous. the reason I left this review this because when I called back to try to get a refund started and or this figured out it was like this company could not be bothered to help and told me that they had left the order as instructed and it was my fault it just wasn’t a good situation I feel like when it comes to taking care of a customers.

    I have been from here a few times and they unexpectedly became my “go-to” place. Today, I had an unpleasant experience while ordering. They were so fast to call to apologize and to rectify the situation. They honestly handled it in such a professional way that I would recommend them over places I’ve been going to for much longer like Argonauts. They handle their store like a true community/neighborly friendly store and not a money grubbing business. They did not have to, however, they even sent me a larger champagne to celebrate my Big Law job to make up for the issue. Based on this I would shop with them again for sure.

    Ordered through Door Dash. Very bizarre experience. The order took 2.5 hours to arrive, but they use in house drivers so that is not the end of the world. The driver/system texted me at 5:32pm and said the order was arriving in 2 minutes. 1 minute later, the driver/system texted me and said the order is running behind due to the weather (it is a perfect 70 degree day). 3 minutes later, the driver/system texted and said the order is arriving now. 30 minutes later, the driver called me and said he was sitting on Colfax in his car and he did not have my address but they were "working on it". I told him that I could tell him my address, but he declined. Interesting decision. I also don't know how it's possible that the driver didn't have my address since I ordered through Door Dash and it is on the ticket that was attached to my order. 15 minutes later, I called the store and spoke to Sam (who was very nice). He called the driver who told him that he was looking for the entrance of my building. This makes no sense since the building is a massive apartment building with an obvious staircase and front door. I went down and found the driver at the door. The driver appeared to me to be drunk (showed visual signs of intoxication) and smelled of alcohol. The driver then took a picture of my ID on his work phone/app that the company uses (which I feel uncomfortable with), and left. I normally order from a different liquor store who checks my ID, but they don't take a photo of it. I hope there are protections in place to prevent my information from being leaked or hacked. Overall, a very bizarre experience. I will not be ordering from this store again. ADDITION: Thank you for the birthday wishes and for the thoughtful response to my review. I'm happy to hear that the driver was not impaired. I appreciate you handling the situation as you did, and I added two more stars to the review. Have a great weekend.
