The Makery Cake Company was recommended to us by a friend, and after comparing them with several other bakeries, we loved that they didn’t have a minimum order requirement. We only needed a single-tier cake for about 24 people, and they were a perfect fit for what we were looking for!
We drove up for a tasting, and while there were a few moments that felt a little disorganized, the cake itself was absolutely incredible. Every flavor we tried was some of the best cake we’ve ever had! We ultimately chose the pink champagne cake with raspberry Bavarian cream filling, and it ended up being my favorite thing I ate at our wedding!
We sent over some inspiration photos for the design, and they completely brought our vision to life. The finished cake looked like it could have been straight out of a wedding magazine! They also went above and beyond by allowing us to pick up our cake on a Sunday, even though they are normally closed that day, which we really appreciated.
There was some miscommunication within their team about our pickup date that gave me a bit of a heart attack leading up to the wedding, but thankfully we were able to get everything corrected and the cake was ready for us exactly when we needed it. In the end, the cake was beautiful, delicious, and exactly what we wanted for our wedding!

Would highly recommend Makery! We had a great experience! They got our babies 1st birthday cake turned around 6 days! It is exactly what we wanted and the staff couldn’t have been nicer. And they even threw in a smash cake!

I only get my birthday cakes from here every year they blow the last one out of the water in both flavor and design 🌸
The Makery Cake Co. did an amazing job with our custom cake! It was fantastic and well done, delivered on time, and a wonderful experience from start to finish. Highly recommend!
I bought a birthday cake for $130. It was a simple fun Fetty birthday cake with a buttercream frosting. The cake was crumbly and the buttercream frosting was basic. The crumb layer and the layer above the crumb layer separated on the whole cake and it broke into pieces when you cut it. Now I don’t normally complain about cakes, But for the price I paid I would expect the cake to be pretty close to perfect and it was anything but that I will never go back to the Makery again. I will stick with cake heads when they have their site up and running again
Now they reply and instead of making it right, they give excuses. I still have the uneaten cake, I was saving it to give it back to them. Thinking they would do the right thing and replace the cake with a better version. Nope, The Makery gives excuses. Think twice before spending your money here. If they mess up, they will apparently talk their way out of it.
