  So dissapointed in Cava Castle Rock. Our meal was awful. My husband got a strawberry steak salad and it looked like slop. My spicy chicken pita was so soggy I couldn't eat it. Compared to the one in Aurora this one was not at all even close to the experience we had and the food we fell in love with. Cleanliness needs to be upped at this one as well..so bummed.

  Went to CAVA a couple of weeks ago. The food is typically mediocre, tasty even though it's often cold and sometimes burnt. This last time, the register was down so they used a handheld credit card reader to take payments. They offered no receipts. Absolutely no way of tracking any payments from anyone. That's a bad and rather underhanded business practice. If you know what I mean, you know. I contacted their customer service and was told to send them a copy of my credit card statement to show how much I paid. How does that solve anything!? Oh and they offered free chips for their loyalty program. What?! I asked for a receipt and was offered chips instead! Insulting. Bad business practice for that location AND for the parent company's customer service.

  I’ve tried to write a review on this place for months, but Google literally had blocked people from writing more reviews because they had a statement that they suspected people were fraudulently writing good reviews. So here we are, finally able to write a proper review. I have visited this place several times for dinner and each time has been a big disappointment. Hours before closing, the employees are busy cleaning up the place and have all of the specialty drinks cleaned out and are not interested in serving customers but are busy cleaning the equipment. All of their signature dishes are usually missing many of the items so you can’t even order their featured meal items. On top of that, the employees want to charge you full price for signature dishes that are missing half of the products inside of the dish. The employees are absolutely miserable to customers. Don’t bother with this location for a meal!

  I ordered a to-go, just to be frustrated when I got home. As you can see from my photos, the portion size is absolutely pathetic. I paid nearly $20 for this bowl! I asked for extra pickles and literally received three. I am still hungry after eating this disappointing bowl. I would recommend to walk in and hover over the staff to make sure they give ample scoops, because they cannot seem to understand the order that says extra/ the item twice. Sad overall but at least the handful of bites I got were tasty.

  This is the third time I picked up food from this location. First time it was great. Second time my bowl was half empty but I said whatever. Now third time, my bowl is half empty again and has 0 sauce on it even though I put garlic sauce x2…. I live an hour away from this cava and pick it up on my way home occasionally but I don’t think I’ll be coming here again. The highlands ranch location is great and I’ve never had any issues. I called and they are going to give me a refund, so I do appreciate that and the customer service I received after calling. I think they just have to hire better staff that actually pays attention and knows what they’re doing. The bowl is almost $20 so definitely shouldn’t be half empty and missing anything. Especially the sauce which makes it an extremely dry bowl.
