I have tried for many years to support this broken down sorry excuse of a grocery store. I even tried to ask for someone else to help resolve this issue, but she wouldn't allow ("im the highest up"). Well after finally meeting "the highest up" today at the customer service desk (she was of no help). I can see why perhaps things are the way they are at this location (PLEASE read other reviews). Please owners/corporate do something to service the good people of Brighton at this location. BUYER BEWARE!

- KAKari AdamsMay 7, 20261.0I was just at our local Safeway...I have shopped there for 20 years and it has mostly been a great customer service experience, always convenient and even the fresh fruit has gotten betterish!!!! BUT THIS NEW STAFF WHAT ARE YOU DOING??!!! Pablo the ONLY cashier, who could barely speak English (or he was being difficult on purpose 🤷🏼♀️) treated an older man SO RUDELY for simply asking for cigarettes! What the hell Pablo, isn't your JOB CUSTOMER SERVICE???? then the Manager also acted completely anoid about having to help the same customer. Then when Pablo checked our groceries he TOSSED the items down to ME to bag instead of utilizing the conveyor belt??!! I am probably not going in there for a good long time!! Screw convenience I value customer service more! Groceries are way too expensive to be treated like that as the customer who has to pay for them! Pablo should definitely find a job that doesn't have anything to do with customer contact! How utterly disappointing.
