I avoid the one on Baseline at all cost-the people who work there are bitter and mean-should they be treated better? Paid more? Would that help? Why are king Sooper workers so friendly and helpful? But I WILL return to this particular Safeway, bc I encountered the most wonderful staff member who brightened my entire day. Her name is Gaga. I was having a rough day, and somehow she brightened it. I had trouble at self checkout, and she was so kind-by the end, she was hugging me in the most genuine way. I can’t tell you how important random moments with strangers are. I avoid Safeway as much as possible, but I’ll return to this one just because this staff member was so authentic, helpful, kind, and understanding. I literally feel like a criminal at the Safeway on baseline-but I’ll come back here🤗.
